It's possible, if not likely, the losses he has claimed are not as bad as they look if they exist at all. Given the Orange Fraud's history of cheating on his taxes (he lost two previous tax fraud cases).............

The Times Pulls Back The Covers On The Unrepentant Tax Cheat

"That Trump is a serious tax cheat is no surprise to DCReport readers. Four years ago, I revealed that Trump lost two income tax fraud trials. He fabricated a consulting business in 1984. It showed no revenue, yet Trump claimed more than $600,000 in deductions. He could not produce a single receipt."
    https://www.dcreport.org/2020/09/28/the-times-pulls-the-covers-back-on-trump-the-eternal-tax-cheat/

New Evidence Donald Trump Didn’t Pay Taxes

“Mr. Mitnick has prepared Donald Trump’s income tax returns for the last 20 years and testified that Mr. Trump had no income tax due against with the credit ‘could have been applied,’” Judge Barrie wrote in his 23-page opinion.

In the city case, Judge Tillman noted that Trump complained of double taxation, but found that claim baseless. Using bold face to emphasize his point, Judge Tillman wrote, “The problem at issue is not one of double taxation, but of no taxation.”
    https://www.thedailybeast.com/new-evidence-donald-trump-didnt-pay-taxes

...........it's possible, if not likely, he is using fabricated losses as a way to lower or eliminate his tax liability.

So......rather than being as horrible a businessman as his tax returns would suggest there is an alternative. That he is just a bad businessman who has routinely claimed losses that can not be documented in order to cheat the government out of tax revenue it is owed. Schemes like this, ones to lower his tax bill by cheating, are what was revealed in the previous NYT expose examining the fact that far from being a self-made man, Trump sucked almost one half billion dollars out of his father's estate. Money for which he paid almost no tax by utilizing elaborate cheating schemes.

What do Trumpleton's think about all this? Surprise (not)! They've come up with ways to just make it all go away........................as always.

So. Your case is that Trump is a bad business man who did not earn anything while at the same time he owes income tax that he is refusing to pay.

"Trump’s 1984 federal income tax return included a Schedule C, the form used by sole proprietors, the decision in the first case shows. Trump listed no income on that form, yet he deducted $626,264 as expenses. His New York City tax return also showed no income, but listed slightly less in expenses: $619,227.

No receipts, invoices, or other documentation were provided when Trump was under audit or during his appeal from what he argued was an unfair demand for more tax.

“The record does not explain how Petitioner [Trump] had significant expenses without any concomitant income from his consulting business,” wrote H. Gregory Tillman, the city administrative law judge who heard the case on April 29 and May 28 of 1992."

For all but confused Trumpette's the evidence is clear. The Cheater-in-Chief has an established track record of taking deductions he can not prove are justified in order to lower or eliminate his tax bill.

The left refuses to believe anyone is more honest than they are. That's almost as sure a bet as their belief that it is never, ever their own fault. Take honest tax returns.

If the worst of the very worst of the IRS tax demons could not fault those returns, then it's clear he was honest and the left was wrong. The left will refuse to believe that and therefore they'll just keep trying to ruin him any way they can.

Not surprising you simply deny the existence of the facts in evidence. What else can you do?

If he "cheated" on his taxes, that means he committed a crime right? What law did he break that the NYT accuses him of doing?

I deny NOTHING. If the IRS could have nailed him they surely would have. Hatred in the federal bureaucracy is so strong this can be considered an ironclad given.

"The paper also showed Trump took deductions for his oldest son’s personal legal bills, a definite no-no. He deducted more than $70,000 for his hair styling. And he gave daughter Ivanka more than $700,000. The president called the money Ivanka got a fee, but it looks like a disguised gift in which Trump both evaded the gift tax and deducted it as a business expense. That’s also a no-no.

In tax matters our federal government never prosecutes over a single act of tax cheating. Instead, it goes after repeated misconduct. People have been sent to prison for cheating the government out of less than $1,000 because of a policy that is intended to intimidate people of every economic level into voluntarily complying with our tax laws."

I know right. Al Sharpton ACTUALLY cheating on taxes and owing more than $2 million is still free. Trump however, committed a total of ZERO crimes and doesn't owe ANYTHING. He is actually OWED money from the IRS.

Nah, they were actually telling the Truth here, but they seriously buried the facts and people only read the headline and think that's all to the story.

Your speculation on this matter is in contradiction to documentary evidence.

I am not denying what you have failed to prove. The IRS would have crucified him years ago if they had had the chance. They couldn't. Why didn't Trump go to jail if he's that big a tax fraud?

"Documentary" from the New York Times? The paper which has created more lies about Trump than they've told the truth?

Show me anything in the NYT that says he owes anything. Come on, read the whole thing. The NYT even says Trump has OVERPAID. Its not my speculation, its your ignorance.

The more that the NY Times gets wrong, the more people are gravitating towards Trump.

That statement is a complete fabrication in no way reflecting the facts.

Are you disputing that the NYT obtained authentic tax documents? If so, supply your evidence. Because the detail they revealed would not be possible without tax documents.

Can you dispute the Times broke federal privacy laws to obtain those documents? Under law, is that NOT "fruit of the poisoned tree"? Illegally obtained is inadmissable.

Yes. The NYT stated in the article the returns were obtained legally. Believe them, don't believe them, nobody cares. Your silly attempt at diversion doesn't change the facts of what they revealed.

Wrong. They said that the data was obtained by someone that had legal access to them. There is a difference between having legal access, and being able to legally disclose them.

The NYT story highlighted there was nothing illegal about what he had done....more over it only discussed what he owed, but didn't add the Alternative Min Tax....
