Is he trying to win more votes or has he decided he is going to lose? I am surprised he is not throwing our money out the window to get votes.

When Cheney was negotiating for the Bush Administration did you have a problem with it? In Trump's eyes Pelosi and Schumer aren't worth a direct negotiation so he lets Munchin deal with it.

Bailing out Democrat cities does not have anything to do with Covid...

That would be the case if they never negotiated but they did. Trump isn't obligated to take a deal he doesn't like and to be honest, neither is Pelosi.

The question is, who needs it more and as you note in your complaints, Trump doesn't need it more. The Speaker does but she and her party aren't the best at reading the room.

There is no need for another giant stimulus anyways. If states would open up with safety guidelines like Washington State did, more people would be back to work.

The latest polls have a preference for Biden on the economy or it’s now a clean sweep on all the metrics for Biden.

Although I think they’ve known they’re miserably behind for a while—focusing on suppression measures.

So what’s more likely, voters punish pelosi or voters punish trump?

Let him in on talks? He is the one who has to sign the agreement. He's what we can THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

But seriously, Pelosi and Schumer have been asking for 3 or 4 times the amount of money needed for the stimulus so they can have a big blank check to send the money to bankrupt democrats run states. They also wanted to mail out millions of unsolicited ballots in every state, no voter ID, no signature verification. In other words, FRAUD.

That's called poison pills. Pelosi and Schumer don't want the bill to pass because it would give Trump a win before the election. They can't have that. Trump is right to tell them, pass something reasonable, something both sides agree on or we will walk.

If the American populace(excluding members of this forum as per the rules) were intelligent they should punish the Speaker.

This is the same person that could've had a comprehensive immigration agreement but chose the 2018 shutdown instead.

If you judged Pelosi by Trump standards she has been absolutely dreadful for our country.

The impeachment did nothing, her court cases have been slammed in her face and the only thing she has to show for it is that she resisted!

I would take Adam Schiff for House Speaker at this point. Resign Madam Pelosi!

Only one district can punish pelosi, and she’ll win 90% there lol
But everyone can punish trump. It’s a moronic gamble he’s making unless he knows he’s lost and it’s just punishment

the democrats have made it quite clear that "putting people back to work" is far from their highest priority. first is regaining the power they feel is rightfully theirs. second is flooding the electorate with useful idiots that will never read past the headlines. third is the series of give-aways they are famous for and skimming the cream off of the enhanced taxes to pay for those give-aways. a working self-sufficient population is not a dependent population and these quasi-marxist authoritarians need a dependent populace that will rubber-stamp their inane policies. they buy votes so they can buy power so they can continue their never ending power grab and all of it is done on the taxpayers' dime.

Trump is making a major mistake and this may cost him the election.

I also think his cognitive abilities have become impaired by all the drugs he is on

If you cared about people suffering from the lockdowns you would be rejecting Pelosi bailing out pensions of failed states.

No, he doesn't. Not at all because he's been saying the same thing through the whole process.

Yes he has. Put the suffering before the states that can't manage their own finances.

Thanks for proving their real time suffering takes a back seat to failed states.

Nope. It will be your side who could care less about real time suffering of people in favor of failed states that can't manage their own finances.
