Sure, Pence is a civil, decent guy. It doesn't mean he'd be a good president. He would be better than Trump, sure, because nobody would be worse than Trump. I hate Pence's religious fundamentalism as I think that there is no space for that in our democratic republic. We were founded on religious freedom but also on the separation between Church and State. I'm a religious person myself, but I don't want to impose my faith and my beliefs on anybody. Harris = lightweight. What the hell is she doing there? She doesn't come across as smart, or prepared, or competent. In this regard Hillary Clinton was much better (integrity apart). Biden = Benevolent and pretty decent - I always found the allegations of corruption to be groundless. Not very smart. Pretty old. Not as demented as the Trump campaign wants us to believe but not that sharp either. Trump = despicable, nasty human being with no compassion, no empathy, callous, selfish, narcissistic, morally corrupt, financially corrupt (as in, real corruption), chaotic, divisive, hateful, stupid in his disregard of science; seems uneducated despite his degrees; briefly, one of the worst politicians (and worst human beings) I've ever encountered in my long life. We're screwed, we have no good options. I'll be content with kicking Trump out of the White House and then, God help us. We can't be any worse than we are now, if we change the leadership. That's why I've already voted for Biden. He is the least bad of the bunch.

Still took her more than an hour to put her foot down on Pence consistently disregarding the agreed upon rules though. The commission should have known Pence wouldn’t respect a female moderator.
So they had equal amount of talking time within something like three seconds. Works for me. Changed minds? A few; not many. It did teach me that Pence has learned from Trump U. He was far less of a jerk in his last debate. She's not as unlikeable as I thought. She has a point; How does her being tough on crime make her unqualified and a loony lefty? I give you credit for not buying into the false two party dichotomy as so many people do. I believe we are screwed because of our large and increasing debt -- something that neither party will address because government is a self licking ice cream cone. That being said, Trump at least gives lip service to supporting the 2nd Amendment whereas Biden promises to bring Beto O'Rorke into his cabinet to confiscate guns. On the 2nd Amendment alone I have to vote for Trump.
One thing I do not understand - the answer to the question of the president accepting the election: The Secret Service reports to the PRESIDENT. They don't report to someone named Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, etc. There is not "non acceptance." If so, it would be invisible. The Secret Service reports to the president. The moment a president becomes a former president he has no rights except those afforded to ex-presidents. This is a one and done question. Why a back and forth?
