Pence destroyed Harris mainly due to Harris lies, not telling the truth and misinformation. Is kinda sad because those on the left will believe her falsehoods without researching and fact checking.
This is of small consequence, but why do they stand for the presidential debates and sit for the VP debates?
He answered every question with, "I need to respond to the last thing...." That's the opposite of discipline. Failure to stay on topic is.... well, several possibilities, none equated with good leadership.

The purpose of a debate is an exchange of ideas. Responding is a good thing. Failure to stay on topic is not but that technique was made popular by Bill Clinton and seems to have been part of these debates since.

Thanks. Yes, I'm unaffiliated, independent, and I hate both parties. I'm a gun owner. But I don't think anybody will come for our guns. This was said of Obama too, repeatedly; never happened. The sky is not falling. Like you, I'm for the 2nd Amendment, but I don't think it will ever change, and I'm pretty sure my guns are pretty safe and will remain in my possession. I did not vote based on this. As a healthcare professional, my main reason to vote for denying Trump four more years, was his catastrophic management of this pandemic, and his clueless approach to healthcare. He said it himself, "who would know that healthcare was that complicated?"

It's not the issue. If an election result is fully certified and a new president is sworn into office, if the former president refuses to concede and to leave the White House, he will be considered a trespasser and will be escorted out, by force. The issue here is that Trump is betting on the election NOT being certified. They are clearly positioning themselves to contest the result, crying fraud, and tying it up in court, with the benevolent agreement of a complacent Supreme Court with a strong conservative majority. Then the election will go to Congress, according to the Constitution, and the way it is set up, the GOP would prevail and Trump would remain president.
I believe if there is no clear winner in 1/20/21, the Speaker of The House becomes president. If the election is in contention, we potentially have President Pelos..... geez, don't make me think it. Barf.
The answer is, let's let the voters decide. As was the rule 4 yrs ago. As some Christians have said, hypocrisy is also a sin. So, use McConnell's words from 4 yrs ago, against him. Show the country the liar he truly is. Just like the liar tRUMP is.
And Pence ducked several questions throughout the night. Including the last one, will tRUMP do a peaceful transfer of power if Biden is declared the winner. More important than packing the court.
