My whole point is simple - let’s say you have 500 democrats and 500 republicans. If 100 democrats and 50 republicans vote for their party in absentee then your polls will show overwhelming support for the Dems when in reality absolute majority of republicans prefer to vote in person. Dems tend to be younger and embrace new technologies more than Reps. That’s just a fact of life. Historically, Reps tend to vote in person. I’ve seen reports that there is as a surge in liberals voting by mail this year due to fears of COVID. You agree with everything above, but you refuse to look at a big picture and acknowledge the trends.
