    Do you see any advantage in making Rudy the AG rather than be confined to just that agency?

    I agree the FBI cleanup is long overdue but that should go to a more dispassionate team and not to a harried crew trying to run the shop while also being buried in blind-alley paperwork and BS --- something the FBI (and the rest of the Swamp for that matter) has done for decades with every unwanted new outsider.

    If Hunter Biden is actually guilty of whatever the indictment may allege, what does the timing matter here? Are you saying criminality must be concealed, to afford a bag man coke fiend pedophile his expected escape from responsibility? Which tier of justice shall we discuss here?

    Rudy would be good but he is too old for the job and in all likelihood does not want/need it. There will be a lot of other great candidates and Rudy will be happy with his legacy as the slayer of Mueller witch hunt and the architect of Trump reelection (assuming Trump is reelected, if he is not, this whole discussion is meaningless). :)

    ~ If it were up to me I would disband the FBI entirely and do some serious vetting of people before reassignment. The CIA would be next. A new agency would have to be created.

    The movie is a work of fiction which Rudy already says tricked him over what was described as a scene where Rudy simply tucked in his shirt.

    The account I read didn't say what the movie character Borat allegedly did with that. I'm not bad with photo manipulation, myself. I just can't bring myself to malign people the way so many liberals are compelled to do.

    I haven't seen nor want to see the movie. It's not high-enough on my list to be the one-per-year I would spend matinee prices without refreshments to go endure, charmed by cell-phone lights and multiple loud conversations.

    Point taken about age, but is it realistic in view of the power he'd have?

    Alternates, you say! Gowdy's mentioned but may be too young for decades of FBI self-defenses. Someone older with longer memories, maybe. The one with the workable workarounds for obstinate Democrats.

    The lack of enthusiasm being shown for Biden or his campaign surrogates is hugely cheering, dont'cha think? So I assume reelection, and launch all what-ifs, why-nots and guess-whats are from the same spirit.

    Do you believe Rudy would have done that, or have you never heard of green-screen camera work (formerly, chroma-key) which allows seamless merging of multiple images.

    I would prefer extra personnel, for existing responsibilities. Including arresting public officials if a court order so requires.

    Go back up. I openly stated I had not seen that scene, nor did I want to. The green-screen process has created so many movie fakes it was my go-to first response for what was obviously a set-up circumstance. I stated what the account I had read said about tucking in the shirt.
