This company has some very durable crack sealers.

Thanks, I stayed up nights trying to figure out what to do. I just dropped the water level and ran it for a while. That was after putting a liner in the filter pond. If I ever do another one it will have a liner. Even if it is a sandwich layer between the inside and outside of the pond. The liner will stop the water before it can leak outside. An unbroken layer with no holes that is. Anything else is asking for problems. I looked into elastomeric paint, rubber paint, roof paint, already used dry lok,and fiberglass resin . Ended up using clear silicone and fiberglass resin. I have no idea how the Romans did it. But I will have a fish pond that will produce food if needed.

    Is the pond still leaking?
If so did you try hydraulic cement?
Will the products you used leach into the water and have an adverse effect on what is living in the pond and inturn what you will be consuming?

Good morning, is everybody caffeinated up enough to take on a Tuesday? I have so much to do I don’t know where to start. The “do this” and “do that” pop up everywhere.

I was off from work for a couple of days last week to try and catch up on the 'do this do that' list. It's now larger then when I started. Every 'do this' begat at least two 'do thats'.

The Romans could apparently pour good concrete under salt water.
I am not sure anyone has figured out exactly how they did it..

I didn't try hydraulic cement because I had clear silicone already bought and hydraulic cement doesn't move at all. I prepared the bottom and filled the cracks with silicone. It no longer leaks there. But when I filled it to my mark it still leaked from the spot up above it. That was filled with fiberglass resin. I still have a minor leak on the opposite side but I am hoping it will seal itself.

I find that when I do the this's it would have been better to start with the that's. In the meantime, it would be best to just hang on to the round to it and make do. :???:

Lot bad, it seems to be holding water very well. I have some duct tape stuck to the wall as a waterline marker. Thanks for asking. Building a low tech solar heater now.

I spent money for stuff and already drained the pond once. This time I let it dry after chasing down a crack where the floor meets the wall. This was the biggest waste if water. I chipped it out like I was going to use hydraulic cement. But I had this tube of silicone and knew it took pressure to make it leak. And then I thought about hydralic cement. And I thought it would leak. I pushed the silicone into the cracks and ran a continuous seal of silicone on top of that. I know the silicone will eventually peel, I am hoping water pressure will keep the seel. That finally quit leaking. Any leak is very slow now. And I know pretty much where they are.

I've actually never grown one before for the same reasons I got rid of it--itchy and causes my skin to break out.

They take a while to get used to. Here in the deep South they can get a little warm.

My wife is like that, she feels like everything screams- DO ME HURRY DO ME NOW! Honestly I never see her tell anyone NO. I think its her personality that drives a lot of her anxiety over always being busy, because she is afraid she will let someone down. She is definitely a busy little fella agoin.
