So you have a study, with strong scientific evidence that demonstrates decreased incidence of disease?
    Do share.
    Should be easy for you

If it makes you feel better wear a mask but don’t put your trust in it to protect you from viral infections.

If you can't understand what I just posted it wouldn't do any good to try and explain it to you. So carry on in your blissful ignorance.

I wear a mask to protect YOU incase I have the virus and don't yet know it

Is it too much to ask you for that same courtesy..especially .considering we are talking about life and death here?

so you have no strong scientific evidence that masks reduce incidence of disease?
I knew that. But thanks for playing.
Can you say "science" again ?

“The patient EBPs were sized below 5 µm, and 80% of them ranged from 0.3 to 1.0 µm“

What part of “below 5 micron” is escaping you?

I really wouldn’t care if I had the virus and gave it to you. It’s the same with the cold or the flu. Haven’t you ever gone to work with a cold before?

The part where the mask filters 0.1 microns is escaping you....

You aren’t protecting anyone who comes within 6 ft of you. The aerosol particles in your breath go right through the mask.

The percentage of people using N95 masks is extremely low. Most are using cloth or “single use” masks. Surgeons don’t use N95 respirators.

So you should easily be able to demonstrate their efficacy at reducing the incidence of disease, you know, the only metric that matters.

Then you should easily be able to demonstrate their efficacy in reducing the incidence of disease, yet you can't

There is some debate about that since those particles are riding on the moisture droplets IN my breath

But what about sneezing, coughing, shouting, singing, or just pronouncing hard consonants like P and K?

    Wear yer ****ing mask

If you have a persistent cough stay away from people and cover your mouth preferably by coughing into your elbow. Maintain social distancing. If you cough into a mask aerosols go through and some larger droplets leak out the side plus the mask is now “contaminated” with what ever bacteria or viruses which were in your breath.

Wait...why bother coughing into your elbow if wearing a mask is too much trouble?

    Sounds a little confused...

As I stated the most important action if you have a persistent cough is to stay away from people.

That's accurate as far as it goes. But unless you're a prepper and live in the mountains...it's not reality.

And it ain't persistent coughs that we have to worry about. It's the days BEFORE you start coughing and are infecting people that is the biggest problem.

You didn't know that? 8 months into this thing and you are unaware that asymptomatic spread is a problem?

You really ought to stop posting until you know what you're talking about
