PR-wise, yes they are. Kim gets to show his people how great he is, meeting with the U.S. President and getting certain consessions from him. If you don't see how that help Kim and hurt us, you should google 'trump and north korea' and read up.

 

Kim has already brain washed his people, they don't need further convincing and it's doubtful if more then half of them even knows who Trump is. Kim can tell them anything he wants because they have no access to news.

That's how people get elected. That goes for any party, liberal or conservative. Tell the people what they want to hear, and only make solemn promises on those things you want to do anyway. Even that doesn't mean that much will get done, even if Dems take the Senate.

I agree with Sleep Monster. Trump was by far the worst President on foreign policy. Look at what he did to our allies. And abandoning the Kurds in Syria was the worst Presidential military decision I've ever witnessed. Trump is a national disaster.

I understand that there are those that are afraid of Trump not knowing what he'll do in less than 70 days. What Biden plans to do about it remains to be seen. Trump as far as I am concerned is quite a dangerous man, like a ticking time bomb not knowing when he will explode.
