Some Americans thought they voted out fascism in 2020, the deluded Americans did that.

Those not wearing rose-colored glasses are not so deluded. The US has had many fascist characteristics for many years.

 

Nothing is funnier than a Trump supporter pretending to care about free speech.

 

No it does not. The only thing that matters is the validity of the argument. People are being banned right and left for simply asserting that women have vaginas. That is now "hateful" and "unscientific" in the clown world we call a civilization. Censorship is the mark of an authoritarian monster.... ALWAYS AND WITHOUT EXCEPTION. If you tolerate it, you will tolerate any injustice.

The reason the left censors is because they cannot win the argument in the arena. They are EXACTLY like the Muslims in the Middle East today and the Christians during the dark ages. They are the inquisitors of the modern age.

 

And yet it's Obama saying it, same guy who actually went after the press.

 

You'd prefer that he pull a Trump and try to silence them with frivolous legal threats and threaten to take their licenses away while saying that criticism of him is not covered by the 1st Amendment? Or maybe try to raise taxes on them to punish them for their speech?

The printing press set off a century of war. Technology changes things in fundamental and unexpected ways.

The internet and social media is no different. Our technological environment has changed drastically, and we need to adapt to that. Preferably before a war starts...

Law is almost always an attempt to balance competing rights and interests, so now we have to try and find that balance point.

 

Is that why social media is censoring American voices?

Does Prohibition not create and support crime ? ... You bet it does .. time to expand horizons a bit and look at some root cause issues.

I would like to respectfully disagree, it is NOT up to you to decide what is true or false. It is up to you to decide what you believe is true or false, but the ultimate "truth" remains regardless of your or other's beliefs. Maybe a fine point, but in my opinion, an important one.
The competing religions have the same problem. They all believe they are the correct ones, when in reality, no one knows for sure. Failure to understand the difference is what causes much of the angst.
