So, Trump pardoned Flynn who lied to the vice-president and the FBI about his illegal deals with a hostile foreign government. Trump didn't mention in his pardon that he fired Flynn 24 days after appointing him as his national security advisor.

This hardly matters. In the grand scheme of things, Trump's pardon is completely irrelevant. At the time, a few years ago, Flynn dealing with a hostile power was a big deal because the scheme fully illustrated Trump's abuse of power at a very early stage in his Presidency.

No one believes Flynn acted on his own. In December of 2016, Flynn was representing Trump and was acting on his orders.

Today it no longer matters. Trump is gone. Moreover, while Trump is hunkered down in the White House avoiding the American people while pardoning a turkey and a confessed felon, the acting President is engaging the American people and choosing his team.

Trump is imitating a hermit while attacking American democracy. Today he called for President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory to be overturned while spreading unproven claims of voter fraud and falsely insisting he won a series of key swing states that went to Biden.

While this was going on, the acting President was keeping Americans informed and crying for unity because the Divider-in-Chief will soon be gone. Biden told Americans that his first priorities will be containing the Covid-19 pandemic, the economic recovery, and tackling racial inequality.

That is what is important, not Flynn's pardon by a President who was ousted by the American people!

There will be some who will say there is something wrong with all of this, but they will be unable to define what they are saying. Those people need to stop believing their own fantasies about Biden, take a step back, and give the new President a chance.

And their major accomplishments during those decades of experience have been what? They go to a lot of conferences and meetings and write papers but what have they accomplished?

What is Biden's position vis-a-vis China? Can you tell me? How about Russia, what has he said about dealing with Russia. Or the ME what has he said about the recent phenomenal accomplishments in the Middle East and how will he keep that process going. Oh that's right he refused to discuss it during the campaign and the MSM accomodated him and never asked him. He said we'd have to wait until after he was elected.

The best thing he could do would be to ask Pompeo and Kushner to stay on in his administration instead of fools like John Kerry and a national security adviser who thought the Russian Dossier was appropriate as he helped created the false story while working for Hillary.

My apologies, but apparently I have very low priority on this forum. If I try to quote a poster, it either takes forever or I get nothing at all. The latter happens most of the time.

Chrizton said, "I would prefer the president who is less likely to do anything that would affect me personally. That isn't Biden."

How will Biden's Presidency affect you personally? How do you know his Presidency will you affect you personally? He isn't the President yet.

Please provide more detail to your statement.

Experience can be worse than worthless. It can be a serious threat if it is the wrong kind or causes those in power to reach the wrong conclusions.

That's interesting. He intends to lessen the military budget (DOD) and also intends to be more involved in Syria and the Russian border meaning MORE deployments.

Dementia Joe seems to have his minions believing that makes sense.

I can hardly wait for this thread author -- who always CLAIMS to be a conservative -- to switch over to excusing every Biden decision, no matter what. That should be a hoot.

And still did better than Biden's dream team not that it's possible to do worse without starting WWIII.

At this point I shouldn't be, but I'm still amazed at how different a Trump supporters reality is compared to sane people.

Dude did you actually look at what those idiot mandarins had wrought in the ME? Hell left to them we'd now be in a shooting war in Iraq.

So exactly what did Flynn do that was wrong and why did the original interviewers believe Flynn hadn't lied. And why was he never been charged with any other crime?

Yeah, I saw the film Malice.

That doesn't mean we put scalpels in the hands of high-school graduates. There is no rational argument against experience. It's a ridiculous thought.

Of course there is. If you don't get it right the first 30 times why on earth would I expect you to get it right the 31st? People who continuously screw the pooch should after a time be kept away from the poor little dog.

How is this relevant to what I wrote? I'm talking about experience, not failing at something 30 times. You're gonna need to be a little more explicit.

Experience is a universally honored and valued human trait. Arguing against it is just silly.

And unlike Trump will take it as gospel instead if wondering what their agenda is.
