they don't though, many free sites out there, you're on one here.... and you have rules here too - you decide what site you want to participate on or can even create your own

    So what?

Isn't it too bad that a Tinfoil Hat like Alex Jones didn't invent YouTube?

Cry me a river. Boo Freaking Hoo.

A Christian site would probably all about Christianity, so if someone posted something that's unrelated might have those posts removed. Youtube doesn't have a specific subject that it supports, in fact, do you know how many off the wall conspiracy videos they allow to be put on their site?

    My suggestion?

Contact YouTube and Protest, or Write your Congressman.

That is all that I have got.

Random posts on an Internet Forum won't move the needle.

In general terms, it must suck to be OANN.

Being so frustrated that Biden Won the Election that they are complaining about not being able to push mindless Conspiracy Theories.

And, what is exponentially more puzzling about OANN"s frustration...

Everybody KNEW that Trump was going to LOSE...
...And, Biden had been a 100% LOCK for several months...

    Go figure...:flagus:

The simple fact that you have this information proves it has not been censored by everyone.

You can demand YouTube do what you want them to. Start writing letters, picket their headquarters. They will either bend to pressure or ignore you. Either way, refusing to host what you want them to host is well within their rights.

Now you're starting to see what Conservatives have been talking about for several years now. If we're to have a free society then we must have a free flow of ideas and information. One of the reasons for Rule 230 was to promote that very thing. It was believed that without it such would be inhibited by lawsuits. The problem is that it never considered the these platforms themselves would start doing the censoring. Mainly because they marketed themselves as being all for free flow of information.

Let us use a different logic

maybe just maybe it is because the conservative posts are less truthful?

    False equivalency.

Let's say 100 people knew that a nuclear bomb was going to go off in NYC 2 weeks before it was to happen, they try to let the people know about it, but they are prevented from doing so via a rule to not incite fear... will that prevent the people in NYC from being killed by that nuclear bomb? Note: LEO's could not prove whether those people were telling the truth or not.

Yes, this is an extreme scenario. Its just being used to make a point. That point being that just because you can find the information on obscure areas that hardly anyone knows about doesn't mean that it does no harm when the big boys that everyone knows about and goes to for information prevents that information from being disseminated.

You can believe that if it makes censorship more palatble.

Now let us bring that back to reality

let us say there was a deadly pandemic raging across the globe and one “leader” of a high profile country was spreading disinformation that was leading to an increase in deaths?

And the rules here apply to everyone, not just people with specific viewpoints.

    Your own article contradicts itself.

Not that its an actual article...its an opinion piece masking itself as an article.

Let's cut to the chase. Youtube has videos of Maddow where he reports on Trump's taxes, which is private information where their release is a crime, and the Russian dossier which turned out to be completely FAKE. Why are they still up?

Lol. That was the argument. Comparing a secret nuclear bomb planted in NYC to political views is the epitome of a false equivalency. Not to mention a wild fantasy.

Regardless, OANN is notorious for spreading misinformation. That's within their rights. What isn't within their rights is demanding YouTube participate.
