Migrant Caravans Head to U.S. Border in Early Test for Biden

The word is out in Central America (and Mexico) -- the Democrats are back in power and the U. S. borders will be thrown open, again, like they were when Obama was president. So, for all the mobs in 'caravans' south of the border, "happy days are here again"? Is that going to happen? What will Joe Biden do...?

We don't know for sure yet what Biden will do, but make no mistake -- THEY ARE COMING!

I don't know the numbers for 2020, and the impact of Covid on illegal immigration. But up until 2019 Trump had more illegal immigration, less returns and less apprehensions than the Obama administration.

Biden has promised to overturn the stay in Mexico for countries south of Mexico.

 

That's pretty sick when you think about it. Obama had open borders and was still putting kids in cages. Maybe immigration was just his excuse?

The left are going to throw open the borders but not only that, they are going to give them money and benefits and free healthcare
and free college and prioritize them for everything like jobs over Americans and if you speak out or complain about it they will probably have you arrested for racism.

I imagine that over the next two years our population will grow by at least 100 million and voting will be given to illegals meaning they will fill government with their people giving even illegals even more benefits.

They will suck the nation dry then move onto Canada.

 

Don't bother... We all know that open boarders and cages to keep applicants, though contradictory, in your mind are both true at the same time.

 

It is the correct move. Personally I would have the military build some temporary facilities to process asylum seekers in the southern triangle countries, which would solve your issue as well.

But the US will and should accept more asylum seekers.

 

The cages were for the average adult population of illegal border crosses when we were hit with an unexpected surge of minors crossing and no where else to put them initially. The problem was fixed.

The Republicans made it a policy to put kids in cages, intentionally taking children from their parents as a form of intentional torture.

And they should expand the CAM program, that Trump cancelled in 2017, but was forced by courts to reinstate last year (what? Trump losing in courts?). This allows minors to apply for refugee status from their own countries. This should be expanded to adults. It would reduce the number of immigrants who enter under the catch-and-release policy that so angers Republicans.

 

Absolutely! Well.. maybe not QAnon (because that didn't exist). But an equally nutty claim! They rushed nothing! There was a spike in minors coming in, but none of this crazy "rushing the boarders" conspiracy.

He created CAM. Which solved the problem of large number of unaccompanied minors coming from the so-called "Northern Triangle" countries. A program that Trump ended, which caused the problem to resurface. But was forced by the courts to re-instate. Which again helped ease the problem.

Scores and scores of illegals will flood into the US under Pres Biden be it this convoy or the next. Get ready Republicans because the count will number in the tens of millions each year and that's not even including 'refugees' from the opposite hemisphere. This is what you allowed to happen with your anti-mask anti-science COVID and driving so many people to cast their mark for the man who promised to deal with it over the man who pretended it didn't exist. This is your first real taste of what you traded for a few months of baby tantrums over masks and shutdowns.
