I don't support any 'view' being against the law. If I for some reason had to move to the Phillipines, I would worry that my opposition (should I voice it, and I likely would) to their law of requiring a permit for legal firearm posession might get me in trouble with the govt. Thats not cool.

Guns cost too many lives. I would never support them.

 

You could be anti-gun but still pro-gun-rights, just as I am anti-authoritarian, but I still support their right to speak in favor of authoritanism.

I hate abortion with all of my being. But folks should be allowed to commit evil by accessing it because body autonomy is as important to liberty as speech and self defense.

 

The big difference is it the US we allow multiple view points not just one. People are given a choice not a singular one.

Probably because like I said Totalitarianism is an attribute of government. When you have a totalitarian government they make the laws. That is a lot different than someone on reddit complaining about a company or celebrity.

I don't really understand this statement unless you are again referring to totalitarian governments. I don't see how a criticism of a cancel culture movement is a crime. I do it all the time and have never been arrested.

They have rules and standards for their speakers. They have processes to vet speakers. I do not have the right to go and speak at a university even if there are some student that want to hear what I say. It is like a newspaper is not obligated to print my editorial even if some reader want to read what I have to say.

Big tech are private companies. They can set their own rules. Start up a tech company and make your own rules. People didn't like reddit they created other sites like voat. Mobs are simply groups of people. Gather like minded people together and you will have one too.

Any criminal that promotes Totalitarian Progressive values in Philippines or Russia is protected by the First Amendment. The can not be prosecuted by American Law. But if their speech is a crime against the Laws of country they reside in then they can be found guilty and punished.
