What we "should" do is one thing, but legality is another. You can't sue the government unless you get the government's permission to do so.... Maybe that's part of why so many other countries have had violent, bloody overthrows of their governments throughout history.... . "WAIT! Can't we just settle this in court after all...?!" .

I think it depends. I personally support devaluing real estate to an extent. Property values are the primary driving force in housing costs, and housing cost is the most expensive necessity for everyone, especially the poor. The only way we're going to truly help the poor is by reducing the cost of living which requires reducing the cost of housing which requires reducing the price of a home which requires lower property values. This has to be done very carefully of course as property values are the lynchpin of our eceonomy and destabilizing them will shake the house of cards down. As far as inflation goes, some common monetary theories require inflation to work. I don't necessarily think those theories are accurate, but I also don't think causing inflation is necessarily criminal for those who subscribe to those theories. But thats all rather academic. It seems pretty clear TPTB are trying to bring the whole system down (thats what has to be done before a new one ca be built), which may not he technically criminal (because the criminals write the laws now), but it does need to be stopped before we're all peasants slaving under a global technocratic neofeudalism.
