    Folks, meet your new assistant health secretary. Yes, I have problems with this. The first problem is we KNOW Biden tapped this guy because of how he identifies, PERIOD. With so many qualified medical professionals in the country, there is no other possible reason to choose someone who literally defies the settled science of chromosomes. But Biden said "She is a historic" choice. We already tried that 'historic' thing with Obama and look how that worked out.

    The second problem is having a person with an obvious mental health problem being the assistant to anything related to our health.

    The natural grey hair on the top of the head isn't really a good look, should probably see a professional and get that addressed if there is going to be a lot of public speaking.

    Did you take any time to read about her qualifications? If so, how do you think they stacked up against appointments like Betsy deVos or Linda McMahon?

    Without saying anything about a fellow board member I should point out that the real feelings toward LGBTQ people that some of the more transphobic types display are actually as transparently obvious as a guy on a full dress Harley outside of Plato's Retreat wearing only leather pants.

    Be who you really are, you'll be happier for it or at least stop running others down.

    MAGA = the ultimate dog whistle term. Means different things to different people and the Biden admin will scare anyone with racist, homophoic, & sexist views

    A transgender person in a key position - oh the humanity. Worst thing that has happened in US History, or at least 2nd worst behind having Lady GaGa sing at the inaguration...

    More than anything, Biden's statement of 'historic'. As with several other choices, trotting out characteristics of a person like that, IMO, is a bit insulting. Not a statement of excellent qualifications, but that they are 'historic'. Kind of like the physical supersedes any other factor.

    Most of us grew out of the mindset of making fun of people that are different after middle school. What you don't realize is that the joke is on YOU. Of course, Trump would make jokes about her too, since his mind is still at the maturity of a middle schooler.

    This is great news! Most people are put off by trannies, especially the males. A few more of these coupled with the flood of illegals and release of pedophiles and more people will begin to wake up.
