Sorry Dennis. Don't believe all these NDE's. And many preachers sound like Jesus and use Jesus words. No reason to suppose they are do anything more than repeating Jesus words. And the Gospel of Thomas does not say that Jesus was divine. In the book Jesus deflects any questions of his divinity asked by people. Many of the non-canonical gospels were written by people who had little knowledge of Jesus, the Jewish Preacher, but wanted prestige Have you read the Infancy Gospels. Do you believe that Jesus, as a child, killed and then brought back to life another child?

And Jesus was never called a Rabbi in his own time. The title came into operation later. The only reason the Gospels use the term is that they were written long after his death when the term WAS used.

 

God puts people in power. Even Trump was put in power by God, possibly as a judgment against the US.

Romans 13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

and a near death experiencer was shown a lot of related material that had my head spinning for a year and a half after I first read it.....

I have to admit that the Book of Thomas may have been much more in line with most of what Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus taught..... unless near the end of his ministry he was instructed to reveal some major league hidden information.... that is well above my Security Clearance Level...................... Jesus already decided that Joe Hiden would win, just like Jesus appointed Trump and Obama and Bush Deux, and Billary and Bush Ono, and Reagan and Putin and Hitler and Stalin and Pol Pot and Angela Muckle and Gary-I'm-a-Playboy-Treaudeaux and everyone other leader on Earth.

And if you resist Joe Hiden, Jesus will condemn, you just like Jesus will punish those that resisted Trump and Obama and all the other leaders of the World.
