Anyone who needs any proof of how vindictive, hateful, and out of control the media has been need look no further than the snub of Trump even though he presided over a near-miraculous advance for coexistence in the M.E. It proves they have nothing but irrational hatred toward the man and NOW toward those who supported him. Jared was the diplomatist that worked out the deals under Trump's supervision so I hope at least HE gets some credit. I won't hold my breath though.
Trump deserves credit on this Nobel Prize as well. Too bad the press all but tarred and feathered him before he ever took office. Especially seeing how Obama got his Nobel solely for having a father of African ancestry.
It would have shown greatness of character to at least acknowledge Trump's initiative. I hope, Jared will insist to share the Nobel prize with him and his deputy Berkowitz. That would be the right thing to do.
In my opinion he does deserve it........ and I believe that an objective look at what the Trump administration accomplished toward Middle East peace can turn out to be useful in more ways than we tend to imagine at first. By now it might be possible to shoot the seedlings from helicopters and small planes! French Pres. Macron has recently promised some billion $$$ help for planting trees in Africa. LOL. Until the Palestinian issue is confronted and solved, no one deserves a peace prize with respect to the Middle East. It is the issue that will cause most of the violence in the region now and in the future, and despite Trump loyalist Dershowitz wanting to kiss Trump's butt, it is a ridiculous proposal.
As I said, it is a holy Jewish affair... an opportunity to elevate Jared and his Jewishness. But, we are all conditioned via the horrible holocaust to go easy with the Jews and let them have whatever they want.
Climate change will always occur, since we can't control the sun and the affect it has on the inside of the earth. Dutchsinse who monitors earthquakes on Youtube, had noticed a few years back that the forest fires in California and the N.W. were around volcanic fields and that before the fires would break out, hot spots could be seen on the satellite photos. Of course what we can do other than adapting to the climate, is as you said foster plant growth in places where there is none. In and about the 1860's, when the Jews from Russia immigrated to Palestine and began planting citrus trees in the desert, the climate became more humid. Countries with dry climates like Greece, noticed it and followed suit. They even have clouds now in the summer, which they never had. Anyway, planes flying over the Sahara noticed that when it rains, there is a lot of green, which means there is water underneath. If one started with greening a small area, they could gradually expand it. As an example, a monk from Mount Athos bought some uninhabited desert land in Arizona, found the water underneath and turned it into a paradise.
First of all the Palestinian issue is not the most important issue in the region, Iran and Turkey are. Iran because Israel sees them as a threat and Assad doesn't have the money to pay Iran for helping them in removing ISIS so they could leave. (Thanks to the idiots in Washington and the oil we're stealing from Syria). And also Turkey because it's claiming all the land and seas under the Ottomans from Thessaloniki to Baghdad. Biden want to renegotiate the Iran deal, and Netanyahu said if he does they will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. So together with Turkey's aggression in the region and the EU's continued animosity towards Russia, you have WWIII in a nutshell. As for the Palestinians, I would like to ask you one question. Will the Palestinian, Arab, and Iranian leaders accept anything other than Jerusalem and Israel being under Islam? I don't think so - and that is the Palestinian problem in a nutshell.
