Did you look at the polls?

    EAFD0474-408C-4374-981C-16A088320EAF.jpeg

When he was encouraging action to control spread of the virus back in April, Trump was getting good grades from the public. When he encouraged protests against governors like Whitmer to "open up" the economy, his popularity plunged.

You seem to be under the impression businesses like bars will be okay if they're allowed to open. When the virus circulates widely, people increasingly stay away from places like bars, restaurants, movie theaters, malls, hotels, etc.

Do you really think there is a worldwide conspiracy to hide the truth?

Maybe you were asleep during all those recessions under repos. I’ll give you that. But Trump left a big loser, a traitor and a criminal.

Yup...First step towards a cure is recognizing you have a problem. Trumpers aren’t there. Too busy buying out military surplus stores.

I think we're starting with answers (people are ready to sell us!) rather than look at what we have to do to deal effectively with global warming. My guess is that we'll have to switch just about everything to electricity generated by renewable sources with a new generation of nuclear reactors providing baseload power.

Natural gas is a bridge to a low-carbon future.

Electricity is better except for more remote locations. We can't keep burning fossil fuels on a large scale.

The Orange Oaf should be convicted and then barred from ever again holding federal office.

Your cite near the end of the article...

"This is evident in the loudest parts of the climate change discussion. Extremists on one side are certain the world is going to end; extremists on the other are certain everything is fine and climate change is a conspiracy.

The truth is more complicated. Climate change won’t destroy the planet, although it will change the environment we’re accustomed to, in ways we can't predict and with possibly dire consequences. And weaponizing “failed predictions” of the past to justify leaving the climate problem to the market is deceptive. If we don't act because a previous prediction 'failed,' we face an array of human suffering, which will hit the poorest and disadvantaged the hardest."

Do you agree with the conclusion?

I was not asleep - and once again my arguments against trump are way better than yours and I will be posting a new thread today on what a scum bucket he is/was - so why are you projecting your flaws onto others Mr. Sleepytime :)

I readily agree that Trump is a massive loser - and likely a criminal - but, your definition of Traitor is likely myopic hypocritical nonsense.

That said .. who cares .. Trump is Gone .. Now we have to deal with the Biden Clown.

Let’s get real. Only a traitor would keep going on about a fraudulent election before, after and during the election , all without one bit of proof. Literally dozens of court cases up held democracy in the face of a traitor. Trump will do anything* to stay out of jail.

Likely a criminal ? He paid fines and restitution to avoid criminal prosecution for Civil fraud at least twice. These ARE CIVIL CRIMES. The only difference between a civil crime and being indicted for felony criminal fraud, is his ability to pay the fines. It was no different then Ted Kennedy and Chapaqudick.

We haven't done enough testing, nor have we taken mitigation measures necessary to control virus spread. The worst thing he did was encourage protests against governors' efforts to limit transmission.

No one knows what Biden would have done. Besides, Trump didn't stop Chinese coming here from third countries, nor did he halt travel from Europe for nearly two months and that screwed NYC.

The race for vaccines was worldwide and started before Trump coined "Operation Warp Speed" and tried to take credit for it.
You're spouting propaganda you appear to have "learned" from the rightwing echo chamber.
Who cares if Cuomo had covid or not?

It has been convincingly disputed by scientists around the world.
Viruses mutate. What are you talking about?
What makes you think liberals aren't aware of China building coal plants?

Trump and his warp speed ****. Warp speed does not exist. It’s a fairy tail just like the entire Trump presidency.
Besides, wtf would Pence know about warp speed. I’d rather have willam shatner as head of the task force.

Welcome to the club. How old are you?
You're 30 yrs to late on NAFTA.

Our country took a huge hit from it. We took over 20 yrs to recover from the mfg and other jobs lost because of it.
The world moved to a global economy as a result. We don't need to pull out of the very thing we as a country started. Going into isolation when the world is shrinking and doing more business with each other, will set the USA back forever.

We have been the leader of global economy. We need to remain there.

This law is already on the books.
But neither party uses the law to punish illegal employers. Like many of trump businesses had hired.

...What if you hired an undocumented worker?
If you are found to have knowingly or negligently hired undocumented employees to work for your company, you could face severe civil and criminal penalties. You are also at risk if you discover that an employee is not authorized to work in the US and you continue their employment. First offenders face civil fines ranging from $375 to $3,200 per illegal worker.

Becoming a multiple-offender severely compounds the potential penalties. A second-time offender will be fined between $3,200 and $6,500 per worker, while a third offense will cost you between $4,300 and $16,000 per worker.

Additionally, knowingly hiring undocumented immigrants on more than one occasion may demonstrate a pattern of illicit hiring activity that puts you at risk for criminal penalties. If you engage in a pattern of hiring undocumented immigrants, you could face criminal fines of up to $3,000 per unauthorized worker and up to 6 months in jail.

Worse yet, if you actively engage in shielding undocumented immigrants from ICE, you could be found guilty of “harboring,” which can result in up to 10 years in prison. Employers can also be held responsible if they utilize contractors who hire undocumented immigrants.
https://fordmurraylaw.com/potential...~:text=If you engage in a,to 6 months in jail.

Wanna know why neither party does anything? IMO
They know the USA economy relies on them. And it would hurt the economy more to enforce laws.

The immigration system is broken, but no one can agree on a fix. So it just keeps getting kicked down the road.

I have a feeling that his addiction to Lipitor might curtail lardo butt’s dreams of running for office. Besides, “ lock her/him up “ is wearing thin.

That line follows the concerted effort of the Democrats and their media to convinve the public that this was all Trump's fault. It was not. Graph media bias and see if it isn't having an effect. People have always tended to trust the nightly news anchors on the three majors. Johnson said he knew he lost Vietnam when he lost Walter Cronkite.

How do we even get people like this back on track with reality. We're seeing the same with Qanon members who still won't quit.

Nope, it was the GOP which has long embraced really dumb conspiracy theories....like trickle down and that all scientists and universities are taken in by a Chinese hoax.
