I've gotten bored with FOX and recently have been watching BBC news. I highly recommend it. Its got hardly any spin and the British accents are nice to listen to IMO...give it a try!
I agree EXCEPT that BBC is every bit the propaganda outlet that NYT is. Yes, it is more pleasant in certain ways, but when push comes to shove, BBC repeats official narratives and propaganda on just about every subject from Douma in Syria to 911 to Covid. An endless repetition of false narratives.
I doubt you'd like their reporting on Trump. I watch BBC evening news almost every night, because it is on PBS and over antenna (no cable required, which I don't have). Their reporters give you the outside view of the daily Washington drama.
Here's a news flash, just because you disagree with it, doesn't make it a "false narrative". being told what you want to hear is NOT 'news', its propaganda.
This has been the case for decades. Stick with them, you will be shocked at what you will learn and what your right wing media has been lying to you about.
Well since I'm not a democrat I don't require sugar coated news. Trump has earned SOME of the trash talk about him. I can handle it without getting triggered, lol
Your right about that, but in this case the false official narratives I named and that you defend cannot be proved. All the facts and evidence available contradict the official narrative. That may be too complex for you to understand, but I know you won't be starting any threads to prove any of the named narratives.
I know a man hears only what he wants to hear, but I've repeated many times here that I don't give any credence to mainstream media presstitutes, and seldom if ever watch them. Therefore, the first clause of your sentence is hopelessly untrue.
No, your CD won't let you believe it, but I've embraced numerous official narratives for a period of time. I believed the 911 narrative and Covid narrative until I discovered facts and evidence that contradicted those narratives. It's called independent research and thinking. Study the facts and evidence, and attempt to reach a logical conclusion.
Sorry dude, posts in internet blogs and "studies" from random guys on the internet are not "facts". And the more people required to be "in" on a conspiracy, the less likely that the conspiracy is real. That's a fact.
So, you are not getting triggered when BBC tells you that there is zero evidence that the election was stolen? In any case, I applaud anyone who is willing to dig themselves out of the Fox News bubble.
BBC World News is my personal favorite news network, one of the things I like about it is they actually cover world events that the American networks overlook, also the focus of the news shows is the news itself and not the show hosts. They actually try to make their platform news based rather than talk show based I agree, and that's why I never go with any news network exclusively. I still like to check with Russia Today to get a counter perspective to sources like BBC News
There sure were a lot of reported incidents that I find hard to ignore, but I suppose they didn't have anything worthwhile enough for court so it is what it is. The way to properly steal an election is to not get caught. I think we are past that point though, we have a new president, it is what it is...just hoping for the best at this point
It's just as real as FOX in my opinion, just less biased. The actual NEWS they report doesn't seem much different to me, just HOW its reported is different.
That's the thing, though. If you never watched Fox News or other RW media, you'd never seen this "evidence" for stop the steal in the first place. Why? Because it's not there, it's all made up by RW media to keep their viewers outraged, so they keep tuning in. So, please keep sticking with BBC, you might discover there is a world outside of the RW news bubble, which is much more rational. Me, I watch BBC on PBS and the Newshour, and I listen to NPR. I don't have a need to watch MSNBC etc, or get my opinion from dailykos. I don't need my opinions reaffirmed every night on TV or the internet. As I said, I applaud this step and would hope others take it too.
You say that but your words are their words, the words the propagandists feed you. Maybe you would be better served if you DID subscribe to the made up MSM instead of the far right media.
