But, I'm happy to agree with those who say Cruz is incompetent and cannot help Texas in any way. He should help, but they claim he's not capable. I'll go along with that.

Senators have "a voice" with the media. These are not privileges afforded the average person. So, it makes no sense for you to call out anyone else on the plane who probably aren't public figures with no sway over public opinion or political power.

This has nothing to do with anybody else except Cruz and his seemingly lack of concern for the people of the state he represents. Pretending like it does is simple whataboutism.

I just did a quick search on that and I'm curious why they would hire a security guard to watch after their dog. I'm sure they could have found a couple of friends or family members to keep the pet while they raced off to Cancun. The whole thing is unconsciousable.

Well, it probably might have ended quicker if 3 things didn't happen:

1. Cruz made laughable comments
2. National "conservatives" rushed to his defense, with equally laughable statements
3. Ted didn't pave the way for insurrection against the US Govt a month ago.

To Ted's credit, he eventually came up with "I have no defense", which is as truthful a statement as he's capable of...

 

He made a mistake, admitted, and apologized taking his lumps. All are hypocrites and few fess up!
