If cisgender girls can join the Boy Scouts, can cisgender boys join a girls sport team?

It is missing both your opinion as well as sufficient elaboration.

You posted a question and then “Discuss!”

Also — The Boy Scouts have rebranded as “Scouting” to allow girls. It is not longer the Boy Scouts. Your entire premise is flawed.

Should pre-pubescent boys and girls be allowed on the same teams? Yes — and they are in many places.

The rule says, "it should contain a member's opinions OR questions"

    And whatdya know... we're discussing!

Boy Scouts of American still exists. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_Scouts_of_America

No. Should boys be allowed to play in GIRL'S teams?

    Go to their website: https://www.scouting.org/
“In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

    Scout me in!“

They have rebranded all of their badges to inclusive programs.

Should boys ( Biologically speaking — mentally and physically — a boy usually becomes a man at the age of 14–15, and is usually a fully physically developed man at the age of 18 ) be allowed to play on girls teams? I see no issues with it.

The aggression factor and strength in men doesn’t develop until puberty so I see no reason why boys and girls should not be allowed on the same teams. I played in both boys only and co-ed teams when I was younger.

"The BOY Scouts of America (BSA) provides the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training, which helps young people be “Prepared. For Life.®”" :roflol:

Yeah, what a hilarious FARCE that is! I mean, assuming that "inclusive programs" means female inclusive programs.

Would it still be a GIRLS team?

As in, you see no reason why co-ed teams shouldn't exist?

Okay, so you didn't play in a girls team. So why are you telling me this?

Maybe what I was insinuating was too complex or subtle:

There is no reason for children to be separated by sex.

So you were against Boy Scouts when it only accepted boys? And you are against Girl Scouts?

Simple answer, the Boy Scouts organization making their own decisions on their set rules shouldn't dictate or impede other private organizations from making their own decisions on what their rules should be. It's kind of like how we have variations of private schools, some are boys only, some are girls only, and some are not gender exclusive. It is up to the private organization to decide what their rules are

    ”Against” is a strong word.

I do not see the need for them to segregate in the way they have in the past. Boys are no longer expected to be dirty and girls are no longer to be homemakers. Girls want to camp, they want to do outdoorsy things. I see no reason to tell them they cannot.

Sure, and what is your opinion on it?

Yeah, so what's next? Boys can join girls schools and girls can join boys schools?

My opinion is the decision should be up to the individual organization to decide what their rules are.

It's up the school to decide

No, I mean your opinion on Boy Scouts allowing girls. I'm not asking who you think should make the decision.

Would it still be a boys school if girls were allowed in?

Current "gender" issues revolve around the perception of the individual that he is other than he appears. The question is, why would his perceptions trump anyone else's? "He" sees a "she" and another person sees a "he". On what grounds do we force others to join the perceptions of a minority of one?

Left entirely to themselves, a group of children will tend to segregate themselves along male and female lines. Should we forbid that natural inclination? Men and women, left to freely use career paths, tend to group into different categories. Should we enforce numerical equivalence?

Then the "left" must demonstrate what the advantages of doing that are.
Having said that in no way categorizes this poster with either side of this current American obsession with totally binary "right" and "left" categorization.

While we shouldn’t force “numerical equivalence” which is a algebraic geometry term — we also shouldn’t force seperation.
