So many celebrities promise/threaten to move out of the US. Do you think he will? I'm sorry he feels that way but if things just aren't working out here maybe it's for the best:

If I had the means, I'd be heading to the Land of the KIWIS. As for little Stevie, to each his own.

They’re just gonna tell him that’s where he is. He’s not leaving.

Can't blame him. One cannot say that all peple are treated fairly or equally in this country. "justice " for Caucasians is different from justice for anyone pigmented. Along with that violence is a built in part of the cultural fabric now. Most recent: eg..A dog walker gets shot and the dogs are dog-napped.........from a celebrity...... that alone makes a cultural statement,.

Wishing him well, safety and peaceful family contentment.......

Great for him, Ghana is a beautifull land, a beautifull land that deserve to be loved, cherished, and being considered better than just being a backup plan for disappointed americans. I don't mean that he shouldn't move to Ghana, I just have few respect for people who move out of a country just out of disappointement for the country they lived in without fully embracing their new country.
That's true for Ghana, Canada or any country on earth.

Guess he'll and his grandkids will have to learn the hard way that merely being "Black" in Africa don't mean SQUAT! It all boils down to which TRIBE one belongs to, and if ones TRIBE isn't the dominate one in the country....see how far being "Black" gets ya.

Stevie Wonder's net worth is estimated at 110 million. If he had lived his entire life in Ghana, would things have turned out even better for him? Stevie can sing, but apparently he isn't that smart. Bye Stevie!

Oh... Stevie lives in California. If he is leaving, he better get the hell out ASAP before they pass that "exit" tax. And imagine that, lives in California, the home of all things progressive and utopian, yet it is too racist for him. How did that happen?

Maybe he can talk Oprah into going with him.

    Leaving is his right.

Were I black I might look into this option, but I am white and see myself as an American and Americans don't try to tell other Americans how they should see themselves. If he thinks that America is a lost cause for blacks, and Ghana will never become an oppressive dystopia like several countries in Africa show a tendency to become he should go there. Perhaps his immense talents will grow and blossom even more than they have here and enable him to benefit them to a historical level. I wish him well in this enterprise

    Arise arise

(I wonder what the taxes are in Ghana)

His children shouldn't have to see a country where any individual can earn millions of dollars and major awards for singing songs, playing games, and building successful businesses.

All the more reason for a leftist to get out of this hell hole that we call the USA, where minorities have zero opportunity.

If he thinks the US is horrible because between 11 and 27 unarmed black people are shot by police among a population of 330,000,000 people he's going to get a rude awakening in Africa...

Stevie Wonder has been a great musician and singer for decades and has a fan following. This move would be a big risk but if he has his mind set on it, so be it.

With that much money, he can be free anywhere. In somewhere like Ghana, he could basically rule. I'm not saying thats he wants, but certainly some people never feel free until they're in charge of others.

Here's hoping Stevie and Ghana turn out to be good for eachother.

He is optimistic about how many children he is still going to have I guess. Otherwise, it doesn't make since his other 9 children and however many grandchildren are already not in Ghana I presume. I mean because my grandparents lived in the state next door didn't mean I wanted to move to the state next door, let alone to another freaking country.

CIA factbook says Ghana seems to have major problems with the remaining slave trade and sex trafficking, not surprising since it's almost right next to what was called the Slave Coast. (it used to be the Gold Coast itself). Has some good Cannabis, (bojo grass, native to Namibia where it enables Bushmen to stay stock still for hours while hunting).

American citizenship was never all that prized as America never really defended its citizens overseas, nothing like the British or even the French. We regarded our people in foreign nations as on their own, a policy which could actually help them if they were caught when the government went out completely as there were few grudges left over from high-handed activities in the past.

A guy spit on me in Syria once, but he later apologized as he said he thought I was French

Why all the way to Ghana? Why not Canada? Or is Canada racist as well now?
