I think we have more proof that the teacher's unions are controlling when our kids can go back to school and not 'science.' My bet is they're waiting for someone to offer them more money or hazard pay to go back to their classrooms. Are the teachers being paid while they're out? If they teach online, are the expectations the same? Anyway, just more hypocrisy from the left. And check out the part where the Moms were afraid of retaliation by the teachers. BTW, Newsom was seen eating at another restaurant and defied all of his own mandates again.
Another liberal elitist "do as I say not as a do", that staying home is OK for YOUR child but not for HIS. And let's not support more private school options for others you have to stay in the public school system. Why is he endangering the teachers by forcing them to teach his child?
The City of Berkley needs to threaten a lawsuit the the school district. San Francisco did it and low and behold the schools went back the next week.
