    (OPPOSING VIEW)

Name one time in which Israel refused to negotiate a peace where the Arab-Palestinian did not make a concession and/or demand a precondition to their participation at the Peace Table.

Palestine is considered to have met it's obligations made as part of the Bush "pathway". It wasn't perfect, but the IDF recognized the serious efforts Abbas made. As I remember the primary requirement on Abbas was to end terrorist activities. Abbas had been giving the right to own arms(!) due to his record. While terrorist activities didn't fully end, we in America can easily see how hard it is for a government to stop terrorist activities. Not even the USA has been able to do that in America when our own government is the target.

The reason for that process to fail was that Israel not only failed to remove illegal settlements (which was forgiven) but it refused to stope ethnic cleansing during negotiations for borders.

How can one have an honest and trustable negotiation for borders with someone who is actively stealing land from you? The obvious very first step is to stop the land theft.

Beyond that, Israel simply refusted to take part in negotiations that Bush was pushing for - regardless.

Let's remember that Netanyahu has PROMISED that a Palestinian state will never be created while he is i power.

So, negotiating with Netanyahu seems like a pointless excercise in total futility. He refuses to negotiate an end to his active war against Palestine and promises never to allow a Palestinian state.

    What is left to negotiate???

My apology. I just assumed (my mistake) that you might look something like that up.

is a military communications acronym—it stands for “bottom line up front”—that’s designed to enforce speed and clarity in reports and emails. It is a term that is probably used more than GOFO – Literally stands for "grasp of the ****ing obvious."
    (COMMENT)
This is probably true. But then I try to temper my thoughts with citations and official documentation. In that way, you might see that it is not my singular opinion.
    (COMMENT)
The McMahon-Hussein Agreement dates back a century. Something that is more than 100 years old (from October 1915) is well past the sell-by date.
It is still the case that such political wrangling is still the subject of dispute in the intended meaning and the intention of the Mandatory Government.
    (COMMENT)

I have not seen any real evidence of "ethnic cleansing." Many, if not most, of the civilian deaths in the Israel-Arab Palestinian Conflict, is a result of the Arab Palestinian leaderships violating Customary and International Humanitarian Law. These include, but are not limited to:

Rule 23. Each party to the conflict must, to the extent feasible, avoid locating military objectives within or near densely populated areas.
Article 13(1) stipulates that “the civilian population and individual civilians shall enjoy general protection against the dangers arising from military operations” and it would be difficult to afford such protection when military objectives are located within or near densely populated areas.

Rule 24. Each party to the conflict must, to the extent feasible, remove civilian persons and objects under its control from the vicinity of military objectives.
Although Additional Protocol II does not explicitly require precautions against the effects of attacks, Article 13(1) stipulates that “the civilian population and individual civilians shall enjoy general protection against the dangers arising from military operations.

Rule 97. The use of human shields is prohibited. This is the “utilizing the presence of a civilian or other protected person to render certain points, areas or military forces immune from military operations” constitutes a war crime in international armed conflicts.

I have absolutely no information on any alleged use of chemical / Biological weapons by the Israelis. I'm simply not competent enough comment.

The use of Dense Inert Metal Explosive (DIME) as Low Collateral Damage (LCD) munitions is not an issue at all. It is the unsubstantiated accusation that Depleted Uranium (DU) Munitions lead to Gulf War illness (GWI). This was a targeted effort against the US, who is ultimately considered by the people of that region to be the cause of all the world's ills.

The relations between Iran and Hamas soured after pro-Assad forces attacked and butchered Palestinian civilians in Syria. Because the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is an offshoot, has been banned in Syria since the Baathist coup in the 60s, Hamas took an anti-Assad position from the beginning of the unrest. It's not entirely clear if the bombing of the Palestinian refugees in Syria was entirely due to Hamas' anti-Assad position, or Assad feared that they could be recruited by his Sunni opponents against him. Probably both. He must be well aware of the impact the Palestinians had in neighboring Lebanon, the massacre of Christians at Damour, the civil war that ensued, the dire consequences for Lebanon.

Turkey, on the other hand, is ruled by a Muslim Brotherhood friendly government, sharing the same ideology, the same goals, the same methods. Erdogan sees Hamas as a precious ally to be kept under Turkish influence and used to further Turkish hegemonic ambitions.

Well...don't get me started on how the UN itself is breaking its own charter.

What exactly in the UN charter is Israel breaking?

There are times when I deeply regret not being religious. At least I'd have some hope of receiving an answer to burning questions, like "dear God, why do some people forget they have functioning neurons and write such pure unadulterated drivel?".

Think, Will. What would have happened to a defenseless Palestine after 20 years of incessant war against them?

    Cute.

The "suggestion" was made by the American lawyer Eugene Kontorovich. He was born in Ukraine though, so I'm having kind of a hard time deciding if this is American or Ukrainian sophistry. Please advise.

Probably the most striking part of your comment is:
You could only not see any real evidence of Israel's systematic ethnic cleansing if you relied only on America's pro Israel MSM (1), (2) and had never been to the region or talked to its residents.
Even Israeli humanitarian groups like B’Tselem recognize and condemn Israel's barbaric extermination and expulsion practices that date back to the Nakba where savage Zionist terrorist gangs murdered thousands and even resorted to such heinous atrocities as bayonetting pregnant women in their abdomen and crushing the skulls of babies(3)

For a more extensive list of Zionist - Israeli massacres / planned exterminations up to 2014 that confirm Israel's ethnic cleansing agenda please see:

    "List of Israeli Massacres"
    http://hubofmiddleeastpolitics.blogspot.com/2011/09/list-of-israeli-massacres.html

The mass murders, home demolitions and systematic persecution of Palestine's native residents didn't stop in 2014 and continues to this day as part of Israeli policy:

EXCERPT "The settlers “threaten shepherds, chase them, physically assault them, drive headlong into the flocks to scatter the sheep, and even run over or steal sheep,” B’Tselem stated, adding that “soldiers are usually present during these attacks and sometimes even take part”.

Such attacks, B’Tselem said, “are no isolated incidents, but rather part of the policy Israel has been implementing in the Jordan Valley.”
    CONTINUED (4)

To better understand what is really going on in occupied Palestine, I hope you will take advantage of independent media in researching this US funded tragedy more thoroughly or even go to the region and see for yourself as I have.

EXCERPT “Mainstream western media outlets are, by and large, infused with a pro-Israeli ideological bias that colors nearly all mainstream Western reporting on Israel-Palestine.

Israel is assumed to be good, peaceful, and like ‘us’. The Palestinians, meanwhile, are backwards, violent, and foreign. These are the assumptions that most western news outlets start with, and questions like Tapper’s follow naturally. One can easily imagine the media uproar if it were Hamas that struck a disabled center with a rocket, or killed 18 members of the same family, or four kids on a beach.

Studies show that when Israel does commit atrocities, they are often justified by western news outlets, and sometimes altogether suppressed. As journalist Amena Saleem reported last August, BBC News instructed its reporters to positively spin stories about Israeli violence in Gaza during a November 2012 operation that killed about 200 Palestinians after Israel broke a ceasefire with Hamas.”CONTINUED

Men and women were lined up against the walls in the main street and executed in cold blood. Members of whole families were murdered in their homes even after surrendering. Girls and women were raped and then murdered. The Zionist terrorists had bayoneted the wombs of Pregnant women and crushed the heads and bodies of dozens of children and babies. This cleanup process continued through the next two days, Saturday and Sunday, and demonstrated the savagery of the Zionist Jewish terrorists.” CONTINUED

I simply do not see signs of anything that rises to the level considered the deliberate and systematic destruction of the cultural group known as "Palestinians." This accusation is just another of a series of claims in the mistaken belief based on unsound poor judgment and an argument.

In any conflict, there will be casualties. How many casualties does it take to rise to the level of "genocide?"

The projected number of Palestinians in the world is 13.05 million, of whom 4.91 million are in the State of Palestine, 1.57 million in Israel, 5.85 million in Arab countries and around 717,000 in foreign countries, Ola Awad, president of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said yesterday in a brief on the status of the Palestinian people at the end of 2018.

The projected number of Palestinians living in the State of Palestine at the end of 2018 is 4.915 million: around 2.954 million reside in the West Bank and 1.961 million in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian refugees make up 42 per cent of the Palestinian population in the State of Palestine: 26 per cent of them in the West Bank and 66 per cent in Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Information Centre reported.

The total fertility rate declined during (2011-2013) to 4.1 births (compared to 5.9 births in 1999). In Gaza Strip, the rate was 4.5 births compared to 3.7 births in the West Bank during 2011-2013.

The average household size in the State of Palestine was 5.1 persons in 2017 (compared to 6.1 in 2000): 4.8 persons in the West Bank and 5.6 persons in the Gaza Strip.

I think it would be quite impossible for the Israelis, under any stretch of the imagination, to conduct a genocide project. The claim is just another case of the Arab Palestinians whining about what a victim they are after they launch various acts of aggression and get trounced in the process. The Arab Palestinians want to capture the emotion of the audience they play to.

OMG! If anyone whines and likes to play on the emotions over and over again, it is the Jews!
They suffer from problems that no other race has, for instance Antisemitism. Memorialism is another one. Every country in the world has at least a dozen Jewish memorial sites, like this monster in the heart of Berlin...
This is totally unique to these people. Sometimes they even get carried away and inflict graffiti and cemetery demolition on themselves, just so they can blame others and it can be added to the list of "incidents"!

Meanwhile, year after year, the heartless violence against children and their parents continues...

I hope you will note that I have used the term "ethnic cleansing" rather than "genocide" because of the frequent hyperbolic misuse of the word genocide especially by the multi-billion $ Holocaust Industry.

    Re:
There are equally determined people who do not see any signs that the earth is basically round and no amount of hard evidence or historical facts can convince them otherwise.

To assert that the goal of earlier Zionist terrorist gangs had as their goal anything other than to murder and expel Palestine's native residents is simply a denial of hard facts.

After Israel announced its statehood, it implemented it's Plan Dalet which leaves no doubt as to Israel's agenda toward the deliberate and systematic destruction of those same Palestinian native residents:

    EXCERPT:
    Plan Dalet called for:

“Mounting operations against enemy population centres located inside or near our defensive system in order to prevent them from being used as bases by an active armed force. These operations can be divided into the following categories:

“Destruction of villages – setting fire to, blowing up, and planting mines in the debris – especially those population centres which are difficult to control continuously.

“Mounting search and control operations according to the following guidelines: encirclement of the village and conducting a search inside it. In the event of resistance, the armed force must be destroyed and the population must be expelled outside the borders of the state.”
    CONTINUED (1)

What is vague about the "Destruction of Villages" or "...the population must be expelled outside the borders of the state.”?

Another example of Israel's unique "Provoke-then-Exterminate" mode of systematic extermination is found in Moshe Dayan's quote: "
"Our strategy was always to provoke the Arabs and get an appropriate response so we could attack and smash them."

The Israeli government is well aware of its vast military superiority and has used its Provoke-then-Exterminate M.O. repeatedly to systematically massacre as many Palestinian men, women and children as the world will tolerate.

It is perhaps because of the crass exploitation and grotesque exaggeration of the holocaust story that the world has tolerated the oldest and most brutal foreign funded occupation in modern history (1900 to present time).

Perhaps if you had been to the region, stayed in a Palestinian refugee camp and studied the region's history for 50 years Israel's blatant ethnic cleansing would be more obvious to you.

    Thanks,

So, if they don't surrender their land on demand of a foreign country they should be slaughtered?

    Really?

THAT's what you get from the new testament?

Like any Bible verse, one must read it in context.

In this case, the context of Jesus' entire parable.

Who was it who cried out, "we have no king but Caesar" ?

I don't believe you have ANY possibility of suggesting this bible verse implies that Israel has a right to steal the land beloning to Palestinians who own that property.

In fact, there is no possibility of using a parable of Jesus to justify carrying out a decades long war with the clear purpose of stealing land.

Beyond that, the Bible has NO STANDING AT ALL in today's law.

For example, the fact that the Bible says God loved and helped with Joshua's slaughter of all men, women, children and animals of Jericho is not a justification for similar acts today.

In fact, such examples are an indictment of the Abrahamic faiths, at the very least in so far as it is interpreted.

Again... WHO shouted out, "we have no king but Caesar" ??

That's who the last verse in Jesus' parable is referencing.

You keep hoping your favorite book has the answer to some question.

I just do not agree that it does in this way you suggest.

Besides, your book is not relevant in ANY legal forum in the US.

It's also not a foundation for discarding the international law that has been worked about by more than 120 countries through the UN.

It's not a justification for ignoring the Geneva Accords.

If you think the Bible or other works of religion justify ethnic cleansing, that is a gigantic and profound indictment of those religious works.

You simply can't have it both ways.

You can't suggest those are works of moral foundation that should be respected AND that they justify ethnic cleansing and perpetual war for profit.

Either a Muslim or Christian Palestinian could understand my point. Obviously you can't because you don't have a Biblical perspective. Yet you assumed the worst and falsely accused me of supporting the evil Edomite-jews who maliciously impersonate "Israel" to occupy and pervert God's ancient Holy Land [but that's something else Biblical and historic that you would not be able to understand.]

I have a pretty darn good undersnding of the Bible and was brought up in a fundamentalist Christion denomination.

I simply don't accept the Bible as a justification for war or other heinous crimes committed today. That's not unique to atheists. There are devount memvers of every religion who see Israel's acts as profoundly heinous. That's true for Judaism, in fact.

There are several points those who defend Israel's crimes claim to find in the Bible - not just one.

However, going to the Bible for justification for humaitarian atrocity is an indictment of the Bible, isn't it?

If you get your morality from a book that contains more murder, incest, rape, torture, misogyny and violence than any Stephen King novel, you've got issues...

    Luke chapter 19

1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. 2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. 3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, 'Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.' 6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, 'He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.'
8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, 'Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.'
9 Jesus said to him, 'Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.'
11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 12 He said: 'A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. 'Put this money to work,' he said, 'until I come back.'
14 But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, 'We don't want this man to be our king.'
15 He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 The first one came and said, 'Sir, your mina has earned ten more.'
17 'Well done, my good servant!' his master replied. 'Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.'
18 The second came and said, 'Sir, your mina has earned five more.'
19 His master answered, 'You take charge of five cities.'
20 Then another servant came and said, 'Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.'
22 His master replied, 'I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn't you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?'
24 Then he said to those standing by, 'Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.'
25 'Sir,' they said, 'he already has ten!'
26 He replied, 'I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. 27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.''
28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, 30 Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' say, 'The Lord needs it.''
32 Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, 'Why are you untying the colt?'
34 They replied, 'The Lord needs it.'
35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road.
37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!' 'Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!'
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, 'Teacher, rebuke your disciples!'
40 I tell you,' he replied, 'if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.'
41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, 'If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes. 43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you.'
45 When Jesus entered the temple courts, he began to drive out those who were selling. 46 It is written,' he said to them, ''My house will be a house of prayer'; but you have made it 'a den of robbers.''
47 Every day he was teaching at the temple. But the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the leaders among the people were trying to kill him. 48 Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words.

Jazz thinks that story fits present-day Palestine.
To those who have, more will be given. America pays trillions every year to Israel.
The Palestinians lose more and more land every day, get walled-in and are being dashed to the ground.
    Why?
They are now the Jews from the past and are reaping their karma!

During the time of Christ, Edomite-jews [not Israelites] ruled Judea as client kings of Rome. Edomite-jew Herod totally tore down the second temple [the one Persian King Cyrus decreed built when he returned Israelites from Babylonian captivity - Ezra 1.] Herod even removed the second temple's foundation stones. Then Herod built his own third temple, putting his people [Edomite-jews] in charge. Edomite-jews shouted "we have no king but Caesar" and demanded Rome crucify Jesus. Edomite-jews are the ones prophesied to be executed for that crime in Luke 19:27. Today, Edomite-jews [who LIE and insult God by claiming to be Israel] again maliciously rule and pervert God's ancient Holy Land... and by doing so, they have set themselves up for the fulfillment of Luke 19:27.

I've never before heard about "Edomite-Jews". That's a totally new word! Most likely the common Jews themselves have no idea they are Edomites. Edomites are Khazars and Zionists.
    Here is proof:

Evil Edomite-jews [Khazars, Bolsheviks, Zionists, etc] are descended from Esau/Edom who was Jacob/Israel's fraternal twin brother. The Bible [OT and NT] says God hated Esau/Edom, has cursed his Edomite descendants and has destined them for destruction. Throughout the OT, Edomites and Israelites were enemies. Evil Edomites allied with Babylon to destroy Jerusalem and the first temple.

Per first century Josephus' "Antiquities of the Jews"... in the 2nd century BC, Edomites lost a war against the Kingdom of Israel. Then Israel's prince/high priest [he was both] John Hyrcanus [Hasmonean/Maccabean] did something very stupid. He allowed the evil Edomite enemy to live in the Kingdom of Israel if they "converted." The evil Edomites feigned "conversion" en masse and became a destroying Edomite-jew fifth-column inside the last Kingdom of Israel.

Herod was an Edomite-jew. In 37BC Herod allied with Rome and conquered Jerusalem. Rome decreed Edomite-jew Herod Rome's client king of Judea. King Herod proceeded to murder all the Israelite [Hasmonean/Maccabean] royal heirs, totally tore down the second temple [and rebuilt his own third temple putting his fellow Edomite-jews in charge] and tried to murder Israel's Messiah, Jesus Christ, when Herod ordered the mass-murder of the babies of Bethlehem! The evil Edomite-jew Herod dynasty ruled Judea as client kings of Rome during the New Testament period.
