And, of course, you have EVIDENCE for your claim........don’t you?

Well, they didn’t turn up to vote, so by your logic, I guess they did...! Millions of people who are eligible, just don’t turn up.....it’s a conspiracy I tells ya! Clearly, all those unused in-person ballots must be fraud.........somehow...

    Good grief...

No evidence that would fit your narrative.

How could all these people disagree with me when I'm totally right? It's statistically impossible and proof positive of widespread fraud

Yes, "lawfulness" is the very essence of government. 'Smells like victory' - right? ;-)

“Hence, if … the essence of government is defined as lawfulness, and if it is understood that laws are the stabilizing forces in the public affairs of men (as indeed it always has been since Plato invoked Zeus, the god of the boundaries, in his Laws), then the problem of movement of the body politic and the actions of its citizens arises. (Arendt 1979: 466-7)

‘Lawfulness’ as a corollary of constitutional forms of government is a negative criterion inasmuch as it prescribes the limits to but cannot explain the motive force of human actions: ‘the greatness, but also the perplexity of laws in free societies is that they only tell what one should not, but never what one should do’ (ibid.: 467). Arendt, accordingly, lays great store by Montesquieu’s discovery of the ‘principle of action’ ruling the actions of both government and governed: ‘virtue’ in a republic, ‘honour’ in monarchy, and ‘fear’ in tyrannical forms of government (Arendt 1954a: 330; Arendt 1979: 467-8).”

That all depends on what the definitions "lawfully", "banana" and, as always, "is" are.

"Whereas earlier, on the basis of etymology, we concluded that nonsense depends on sense, we can now say, on the basis of function, that sense depends upon nonsense." NONSENSE, Aspects of Intertextuality In Folklore and Literature, Johns Hopkins Univ. Press Baltimore 1989,p 5

Beyond that, on the bright side, every apocalypse will probably 'smell like victory'. :)

Hint: Repeatedly denying the very obvious inconvenient truth is not good for the old credibility thingy. ;-)

"It remains true, however, that flagrant examples of such fraud in other parts of the country have been documented throughout this Nation’s history ... not only is the risk of voter fraud real but that it could affect the outcome of a close election."
    Crawford v. Marion County Election Bd., 553 U.S. 181 (2008) (emphasis mine)

Please give details of those “flagrant examples”......but take care! Of the few cases that have been documented, you’ll find that most of them were perpetrated by Republicans...

Oh there is evidence, as I said, none that would fit YOUR narrative. It is swept under the rug. I maintain that even common sense rules fraud.

Oh, of course, silly me.........I completely forgot about the very Trumpian “Many people are saying...” level of evidence.....

It’s a disgrace that this valuable ‘evidence’ was thrown out of court 60+ times.....right?

All you have to do is read the many examples on this thread, or click the link on Rahl’s early posts on the subject.

“THE world has watched the American Presidential election with mounting
disbelief as tales of incompetence and skullduggery have emerged. None
of these electoral misdeeds have surprised me -- but I am puzzled that
they have taken this long to be uncovered. I know they occur: I fixed
    an election myself." ...

He was clearly in charge of this polling station, but I didn't dare ask how he
came to be in charge. Instead I gathered my courage and went to look
at the back of the voting machine to see if any votes had been
registered. Fifty had. It was seven-thirty in the morning. The polls
    didn't open until eight.”

The fact that elections are often rigged in America is not a secret.

Yes, once again, the “Many people are saying...” brand of Trump evidence..........which is why it gets thrown out of every court in which it appears....

Examine what...?? Even Giuliani et al, when asked to state their case, admitted that they were NOT claiming fraud...!! They made those claims OUTSIDE of court, in order to stir up the Trump yokels only...

And still does with her routine snide "and we ALL know who really won" remarks.

    How about Bush beating Gore

    Election Doubting Is All-American
Trump and his supporters are following a tradition that runs from Andrew Jackson to Nancy Pelosi.

"There has often been reason to be suspicious of the official results in an election system rife with corruption and incompetence. The U.S. Supreme Court ended the 2000 Florida recount crisis by ruling in favor of George W. Bush. But a July 2001 Gallup survey found that only 15% of Democrats believed Bush had won the election “fair and square.” Pollsters stopped asking that question after 9/11, but liberals have waved the bloody shirt ever since. A 2012 New York magazine piece was headlined, “Yes, Bush v. Gore Did Steal the Election.” The Intercept in 2018: “Democrats Should Remember Al Gore Won Florida in 2000—but Lost the Presidency with a Pre-Emptive Surrender.”

Four years later, as Politico reported this past December, “even after [John] Kerry conceded the race, accusations about shenanigans in Ohio emerged on several fronts.” Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, a co-chairman of the Bush campaign, was accused of “garden-variety voter suppression.” Rep. John Conyers of Michigan issued a report in 2005 on what Politico described as “voter suppression tactics reminiscent of the Jim Crow era: flyers directing voters to the wrong polling places; voting machine shortages in college towns and heavily-minority neighborhoods; people forced to stand outside on Election Day for hours, in pelting rain.”

I grew up in Ohio and heard stories from friends consistent with these claims. Mr. Bush’s margin there was 118,000 votes, more than Joe Biden’s in Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin combined. But more than a few hard-core Democratic activists still think Mr. Bush stole two elections."

And that's not even touching on Stacy Abrams.

Is your use of the phrase "governed" synonymous with the words "ruled over"? It sure looks that way. I believe American Founders would take violent opposition to your premise! I do as well!

Even Lenin did not go that far.

"How self-government is to be organized and how we can manage without a bureaucracy has been shown to us by America and the first French Republic, and is being shown even today by Canada, Australia and the other English colonies."

You are clearly an "intellectual", so you may find Lyotard more credible than my humble self. ;-)

“Are we, intellectual sirs, not actively or passively 'producing' more and more words, more books, more articles, ceaselessly refilling the pot-boiler of speech, gorging ourselves on it rather, seizing books and 'experiences', to metamorphose them as quickly as possible into other words, plugging us in here, being plugged in there, just like Mina on her blue squared oilcloth, extending the market and the trade in words of course, but also multiplying the chances of jouissance, scraping up intensities wherever possible, and never being sufficiently dead, for we too are required to go from forty to the hundred a day, and we will never play the whore enough, we will never be dead enough” Jean-François Lyotard, Libidinal Economy

When is the normal Presidential address to a Joint session of congress scheduled for?

It does appear the Biden is a puppet, but to who is not as clear.

But, despite the massive propaganda push by th Fake News Media, the nation is not following their lead.

    Consider: USA TODAY/Ipsos Poll:

Only 36% describe Floyd’s death as murder.

"Trust in Black Lives Matter has fallen to 50%; trust in local police and law enforcement has risen to 69%."

And soon our borders will be overwhelmed and we will be lurching from crisis to crisis with it increasingly clear that no one is at the wheel of the Ship of State.
