The Pentagon Has 6 Months to Disclose What It Knows About UFOs
    "
As part of the newly passed COVID-19 relief legislation, lawmakers are demanding answers from U.S. intelligence agencies and the Defense Department on the potential existence of UFOs and other unidentified aerial phenomena.

The $2.3 trillion omnibus appropriations legislation passed last month includes the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal 2021, which provides more resources toward investigation gathering and "strengthening open source intelligence" collection among the agencies, according to a release from Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, who introduced the bill in June. The Senate passed the legislation in July.

Some of that information includes what the Pentagon, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and its counterparts know about unidentified aerial phenomena -- also known as "anomalous aerial vehicles." Lawmakers expect to see a report on the collected UFO data 180 days from the bill's passage, according to the legislation.......

The UFOs don't have to be out of this world, either. The legislation requires information on any technologies China, Russia, Iran, North Korea or others may possess in this field, including "aerospace or other threats posed by the unidentified aerial phenomena to national security, and an assessment of whether this unidentified aerial phenomena activity may be attributed to one or more foreign adversaries," it adds.

In April, the Pentagon officially acknowledged three incidents reported by Navy F/A-18 Hornet fighter pilots after years of speculation that pilots were encountering alien spacecraft during training missions.

The Defense Department that month published videos of the incidents -- one taken in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015 -- "which have been circulating in the public domain after unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017," officials said in a statement........."

Very interesting! Don't know why do UFOs have to do with the COVID, and why is it in the bill??? But i am glad the disclosure is moving forward, I wonder how people will take it? How will you take it? it's just few months away, I am excited!
And I also wonder what else is in the legislation that is not related to COVID?

    .

"UFO" means it's an unknown aircraft.

I prefer the old WW2 Allied pilots' term for a possible alien aircraft = Foo Fighter!

The U in UFO would mean there is nothing to disclose.

Probably some pork amendment a republican loaded on the bill as a condition for their support.
It’s a popular tactic among the repubs. Obstruct any legislation and load bills with pork and ridiculous crap as a condition for their support and then vote against them anyway and then start whining about bills loaded with irrelevant pork.
I notice that Biden has not been playing their game.

Wow, something in the bill I actually care about. I too want to know what the military knows. I have a feeling they don't know a whole lot, but it would be interesting to see.

I do believe there is a lot we don't know, and they won't disclose it even with this bill. If it's unknown to most, how will anyone know something wasn't disclosed.

I seriously doubt the Pentagon has access to UFO documents. The men in black suits will never give up the truth about UFO's. With the knowledge that aliens exist how would that change the way we see our governments?

I'm not sure much would change in that respect. We would know we were being visited and life would go on. Most people assume they exist anyway, so it would just confirm what we already know.

I think it's just a way to waste money. No intelligent being would want to be associated with us. Look what we've done to our own planet. They don't want to mess up their real estates values by having crappy neighbors like us. ;-)

You could probably say that about most of the things in the relief bill. At least this one is fascinating, lol.

I've said the same thing about many Republican initiatives. Also, the 180 days has expired and did so While T**** was still president, can you imagine he'd have been able to keep anything from this secret? Puuulllleeeze.

I'm voting fake news. Even Rubio isn't that stupid. OK, maybe he is but I'm not putting this one on him.

I'm sure the Pentagon is really worried about what Congress wants it to do.

Anybody today who thinks we are alone in this universe is not too bright, whether the government admits it or not. Too much evidence shows we are not alone in this universe.

Foo Fighter is well known, even my 90 years old grandma has heard about it.
What they ask for is knowledge/evident about the UNKNOWN REAL SOURCES OF these unknown aircraft that are not of this world.

Yeah, I also think that most people already assume they exist. But I also think that the people pushing for more disclosure also concern about how much our militaries and/or our governments and/or unknown organizations have been in contact and in co-operation with "them". And what kind of deals they've made with "them". Do these deals involve us? How these deals affect us today and in the future...

Lol, well if they are working so hard to keep it secret, it's probably not good...

This alone deserve a real discussion on its own, it makes me wonder how much % of money actually goes to COVID relief?

From what I understand, the UFO disclosure was part of a defense spending bill. It passed Congress. If it was attached to the Covid Relief bill, then I think it has to do with the way Democrats pushed a bunch of stuff into the latest federal budget so that it kept Republican lawmakers from stopping the last Covid relief bill. Which would have been possible if Republicans used the filibuster to end it. But something about passing a budget prevented the filibuster and it was passed with a minimum of 60 votes... I think?

It is unjustified to pass this bill, with so many un-related pork in the bill, and 6000 pages that no people actually know what's in it.
But I do like UFO disclosure part.
Do we have to pay for the bill later?

What we think we know and what we do know will certainly change the way we see religion.
