White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday the Biden administration will not play a role in vaccine passport system, as more Republican governors and politicians have come out against the idea.

"The government is not now, nor will we be supporting a system that requires Americans to carry a credential," Psaki said. "There will be no federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential."

This is good news. The White House it seems finally caught a tiny amount of common sense. I guess they realized that between the number of red states opting out and making it even illegal for localities or businesses with in them to do it and the questionable constitutional allowances for the feds to impose it on the whole country that it isn’t doable.

I’m glad that the Biden regime saw the light at least on this one issue.

And what exactly would be wrong with a document to show that you are vaccinated? Other nations are doing it, and quite successfully at that.

Is this one of those totally nonsensical, malarkey'esque "black helicopter" moments?

Just like the mileage tax idea they should have never floated in the first place.

They never said they were going to make it mandatory, that was fake news.

As far as states making it illegal for businesses with in them to do it, I do hope this gets challenged in court. As a small government sort of guy, I do not feel it is the government's job to tell a business they cannot ask for such things. If you do not want to show a card, do not go to that business. It is pretty simple.

It is fun to watch people that pretend to be Conservatives cheer the government telling a business how to run it company

I was speaking of the "vaccine passports" not the mileage tax.

The latter is going to happen sooner or later, too many states have been talking about it for it not to

And the governors in the Red states who refuse to set-up a ChiCommesque Social Credit system in their states will be denounced as "Neanderthals".

"Progressive" Inevitability, eh? Some Democratic governors talk about it so we should make like sheep and accept that a Democratic president will do it.

    No thanks.

As for what I think will happen sooner or later, I fully expect Biden to break his promise not to raise taxes on the middle class - as I pointed out earlier, the trial balloons are already in the air...

Nobody is suggesting anything like that

I can't really feature these ******* Trumpublican governors telling me how much a business is allowed to protect me from a deadly disease. After all, I really don't want to have some ******* antivaxxer transmit a resistant variant of this thing to me, my kid or my wife but then we should all be PROUD to die for these jerkwads, FFFRREEEDDOMMM, right?

I'm sorry, I have to go throw up, and it's not from the COVID either.

Simply amazing that you got that out of what I posted. It is almost as if you did not even bother to read it.

At least he did not say to us us "read my lips...".

If we are going to spend like drunken sailors on shore leave, then I think we should pay for it. I find it morally repulsive to leave the bill for our grandkids.

Absolutely nothing... it will still likely happen at a state level, just not at the national level

I'd be very proud to show my vaccine card (after I get my 2nd shot in a few weeks) and will consider bypassing public places that don't require one yet allow unmasked people... someday...

This includes the entire state of Floriduh, which I will continue bypassing likely for the rest of my life..

So, this is a parody-posting, right?

Because that's a lot of some USDA Grade-A Malarkey, right there.

Who needs parody when you have a parody of a president providing the material:

    Dramatic. :applause:

Hopefully, you're fortunate enough to live in a Deep Blue state where a Democratik governor who sends elderly WuFlu patients back to nursing homes can tell you how much a business is allowed to protect you from a deadly disease. SAAAAAFETY, right?

Mileage taxes — or something similar — will have to occur eventually due to gasoline being phased out. It’s common sense.

If you replace one tax with another tax then no ones taxes are being raised.

So a false news story created by “anonymous” sources and regurgitated by fake right wing “news” being proven fake gives all the redcaps a sigh of relief and makes them think they accomplished something...

The Republican base is so... predictable.

Businesses should have the right to ask for such things without the government interfering

No, mileage taxes don't have to occur because the spendthrifts in Washington are quite capable of figuring out a way to tax anything, including the fuels that supposedly will replace gasoline.

God forbid our masters in Washington can't raise our taxes.

Here's an idea - they can halt their unsustainable spending and expansion of government programs, instead.

It makes so much sense I’m concerned she’ll “circle back” and say “What I MEANT to say is . . ."
