The commission's recommendations are of course pre determined. Biden's appointments to the panel make it obvious. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/27/biden-supreme-court-reform-463126 Democratic Socialists have permanently barricaded themselves inside the U.S Capitol. They've deployed U.S. troops Joe Biden ordered to be vetted ... for loyalty ... to his socialist regime. Pelosi's declared she has the right to unseat any member of congress she wishes, and comrade Schumer after 4 yrs of abusing the Senate filibuster plans to eliminate it. The commission's been formed, and in the 180 day lead-up to their foregone conclusion Joe, Nancy and Chuck are diligently working on ways to disarm America's citizens. Who knew Joe McCarthy was such a visionary when he held those hearings 1950 - 54 ? Nikita Khrushchev did. 1956 he predicted "We will take America without firing a shot". If the SCOTUS is supplanted, Pelosi's authoritarian politburo will reign supreme. Been awhile, but as usual, your thoughts appreciated.

First of all, I doubt it will get anywhere.
Biden knows this, but he is not in the emotional position to argue with those advising him. The progressives running things are used to shoving things down peoples throats at the state and country level. They don't really understand that they don't have the power in DC to do that without structural changes, and more and more elected democrats are digging their heels at that idea for the simple reason of self preservation.

"Nothing to be alarmed about" ? Ignoring the "war mongering hardliners" got us here. Creeping socialism did exactly that. When the POTUS says "no constitutional amendment is absolute" it's time to be alarmed. Especially when the SCOTUS Joe's gonna pack is gonna decide if Joe's right about that.

    They are not absolute

You can’t yell fire in a theater
Felons cannot own guns or vote
All religions are not allowed to practice equally

Sure, some are more absolute than others but none of them are 100% as there are exceptions and they can be edited / outright removed by the amendment process.

Curious what is stopping all religions from equal practice?

They're absolute until they're reapeale annodated as you point out yourself. Biden with Pelosi's blessing is circumventing that long difficult process by issuing executive orders. Biden's EOs are going to be challenged, and the SCOTUS that Joe's about to pack with liberal justices will decide if Joe can get away with it. There's literally no bigger threat to our democracy than (D)s side stepping the prescribed congressional procedure for amending the constitution.

Oh, you have an issue with EO’s do you? Was it side stepping around the constitution when trump did it in his first year (220) or Obama’s first year (147) or Bush’s first year (173)?

Trump signed 220 total ... 4 yrs worth. Not 1 of those EOs altered a constitutional amendment. Some of Trump's were rejected by the SCOTUS on constitutional grounds. Might not have been if Trump packed the court like Biden plans to now.

trump received three justices — one of which was absolutely illegitimate, possibly two.

You still didn’t answer the question.

LOL Trump filled vacant seats, he didn't expand the court. Not even after all 3 of his appoinments turned out to be centerists. There's nothing wrong with EO's when they don't undermine constitutional guarantees. Think a POTUS should have the power to tweek the 14th amendment? How about birth right citizenship?

I think birthright citizenship absolutely needs to be amended, not by the president though as he doesn’t hold that authority.

What EO is undermining “constitutional guarantees”?

And yes, trump filled vacant seats — one that was held open through political games, another that retired under odd circumstances, and another that was rushed through because they knew the people were about to fire him. And y’all have the gall to say it is liberals forcing things onto the American people...

I'm not hysterical. Joe can't rewrite the 2nd A either but I guess Joe thinks otherwise.

"y'all"? How is it your southern drawl carries over into your text? You don't like the tactics Trump used to fill the seats so you think packing the court is justifiable but it's not. Biden selectively mandating IDs at his whim ... universal background checks ... and at the same time ranting about voter IDs? Encouraging corps. to "independently" require customers to present covid passports? Biden is the dictator that (D)s portrayed Trump as being.

Joe's signed 6 EO's in which he takes it upon himself to interpret the 2nd A ... interpretation of the constitution is the sole province of the SCOTUS. By expanding the cout Joe's essentially absorbing the SCOTUS, reducing it to an extention of his administrative branch. Before, and if you reply, maybe google "hysteria" ... it's pretty sexist.
