People have been riled up before. No state is going to secede, and any yahoo that is stupid to challenge the US military will never be that unhappy. I suggest you wait until the insurrection trials and watch those so-called combatants soil themselves when they are sentenced.

Trump is still injecting himself into politics, and is still looking for the limelight. It's his bed he made it.

Before you present me with that bridge, tell me precisely of Trumps motives.....certainly not to gain wealth, and if so how?

What insurrection trials? Some have already been acquitted.

Although in principle Trump's social media ban was controversial, personalIy I could not be more glad.

Out of sight, out of mind.

I think that means trump considered himself unemployed the entire time he occupied the WH.
All he did was cause trouble. And on the world stage.

I think he just can’t stand not to be the center of attention.

I'm not a psychoanalyst but I don't think that flies. Way too much effort for attention when he could easily get it in other ways.

The "good hearted" people don't stay in politics very long. It's a shark tank and everybody has to get their hands dirty so they all have something to hand over each other's head.

Trump wanted the title and perks but not the responsibilities of the position. He loves attention. In fact, he thrives on it.

In order to be acquitted, you must have a trial.

Wow, this comedy writes itself. :)

All that money didn't make him happy. He craves something else, power maybe. Or perhaps a society build upon Aryan/Slavic Union? All the women are over 6 foot tall with blue eyes and big breasts (cosmetic enhancements allowed).

You seem to be the comedy act. Some things never go to trial (Hillary's missing e-mails) sometimes Judges throw them out. You are not guilty in America until a crime is proven. In this case, insurrection.

FYI, dismissing or dropping a case is far different than an acquital. An acquital means the case has been adjudicated and the person can no longer be tried for that crime. Dismissing or dropping a case means the plantiff no longer is seeking a trial for those charges.

No one has yet gone to trial for the insurrection.

Do you think it's possible for people to change their opinions as they come across new information?

I asked the question because you used the "never Trumper" in your response. I've seen that before on this forum but don't understand why people assume that a person could simply change their mind about Trump. It doesn't mean they never supported him. It just means their opinion changed somewhere along the line.

Well, it appears he is not done with Washington and he's getting the team back together!!

A constellation of Trump administration stars today will launch the America First Policy Institute, a 35-person nonprofit group with a first-year budget of $20 million and the mission of perpetuating former President Trump's populist policies.

In the coming months, the group plans to take a large office space near the U.S. Capitol as a symbol that it'll fight to be a muscular, well-heeled center of the future of conservatism.

The president and CEO is Brooke Rollins, a Texan who was head of Trump's Domestic Policy Council.

The board chair is Linda McMahon, who was a member of Trump’s Cabinet as the administrator of the Small Business Administration, after winning fame as a pro-wrestling entrepreneur. The vice chair is Larry Kudlow, Trump's economic adviser, a longtime CNBC personality who's now a Fox Business host.

The group includes 20 policy areas, many run by Trump alumni:

    • Former Energy Secretary Rick Perry heads the Center for Energy Independence.
    • National security will be co-chaired by John Ratcliffe, Trump's last director of national intelligence, and retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who was national security adviser to Vice President Pence.
    • Jack Brewer, a former NFL player and advisory board member of Black Voices for Trump, heads the Center for Opportunity Now, focused on an "underserved community agenda."
    • Paula White-Cain, a Trump spiritual adviser, will head a Center for American Values, focused on religious freedom and the Second Amendment.
    • Former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi will head a law and justice center.
    • Scott Turner will head the Center for Education Opportunity.

Obama commented when Trump was elected. Check the date of Jan 6, 2017 to find out how Obama put out the word that Trump worked with the Russians to defeat Hillary. As that turned out, it was just one lie submitted by the media.
By going on the View Boehner stepped into poo. Ever sane human knows the View supports Democrats. Notice how the media conceals the lousy president Biden by talking about Trump all the time.

For 4 years they spent every waking hour hating Trump 24-7. Now that he isn't in office, they are going through withdrawals. 5 months after an election and they still can't wean themselves off of the CNN, ABC, NBC, hate fest tit.

That's interesting. I've never heard of Trump being involved in anything that wasn't for profit (to himself).

Are you talking about what he said after Trump won the election? Or something else?

As far as Trump's comments, I am talking about him releasing a statement every few days as a rolling commentary on the Biden Administration. I don't recall any former POTUS doing that.

Someone else mentioned the Boehner is just trying to promote his new book.
