This spineless, craven man was not qualified for the Second Fiddle Position, thereby demonstrating the Peter Principle which states " an individual will be promoted in a given institution [government] until they reach a position they are incompetent to perform."
Trump never claimed to be a prophet. He simply stood up for the middle and working class and heartland values despite coming out of an elite urban background.
Strong people have strong egos, but strength is never demonstrated by micromanagement, a lack of dignity, preaching to the unwashed on Twitter, WWE style theatrics, etc. But, in commenting about Trump it must always be remembered that the alternative to Trump was the shrill, foul-mouthed, under-qualified, patronizing, immoral hag, Mrs. Bill Clinton. A woman who once asked high ranking Military officers to wait tables while in attired in dress uniforms.
He didn't stand up for me. He didn't build a wall, let alone make Mexico pay for it. Didn't deport illegals. At the mid term elections he made a big show about sending the NG to the SW border. Of course they did not have loaded weapons, were kept 100 miles from the border, and did nothing. Trump rolled over on the budget going into a total panic over shutting down the non-essential Government jobs, and ran up a massive deficit. I thought at least we got some conservative SCOTUS appointments from Trump but now it is looking otherwise. His own SCOTUS picks stabbed him in the back as did his VP. Trump was a terrible judge of character.
Successful people have strong egos. Strong people are humble. The rest I agree completely. Yeah, no argument here. That's behind us, and hopefully we've learned a lesson.
The lesson I have learned is to be more active in State and local politics where one person can make a difference -- and issues can be focused on rather than BS claims made at the national level by self serving political parties.
Yes! The state and local is where it’s at. Particularly the local if you are rural red living in an urban blue state like me. At the state level though, they had a town hall on Fox News Thursday with 5 trailblazing GOP governors who were doing things their way at the state level 180 polar opposite on virtually every issue to the goals of Biden and congressional democrats. They had the governors of Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Iowa, and Nebraska there are the event in Florida. Next moth they will do another one in Texas. I’ll try to find a link to it. As they say, the states are the laboratories of democracy!
As long as they are law abiding and using their 1st amendment rights to peaceably assemble to petition government, absolutely nothing should happen to them. Period. The instant the line is crossed to looting, becoming a riot instead where people on the other side also peacefully assembled are getting assaulted, injured, there is property damage, vandalism, arson, smashing doors or windows, then riot gear, gas, bean bags, rubber bullets, etc is justified to stop the behavior.
So he has a spine after all as he resisted democrat urges for him to stage a coup and seize power for himself days before a new President was set to take office.
As predicted as we are in the end times and things will become as bad as they were in Noah’s day and at Sodom and Gomorrah before the 2nd coming.
It was not a prop, it was a symbol. A symbol that both St. John's church and the bible still stand; despite the attempt of godless liberals like yourself to destroy both of them.
Mike Pence buckled after ONE news cycle in opposition to the RFRA act in his state. Despite the Federal RFRA, and State RFRA in 21 other states, Apple and Ebay, which have no problem doing business in bastions of enlightened attitudes on gays as Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, threatened to boycott Indiana, (curiously they never threatened to boycott the existing 21 states with RFRAs or the Federal government) and Pence couldn't cave fast enough. Pence provided proof-of-concept for much of the corporate bullying that’s happened since. He energized boardroom activists, showing them that a few press releases and a day or two of Twitter trends could cause these Romney-types to quickly back down. Pence's capitulation at his moment when he could have demonstrated strength will be his enduring, bitter, cultural and political legacy. It was an act of surprising and consequential weakness. Kristi Noem is another that failed under stress testing. The Presidency is a very big office, and folks that can't stand strong, like a Tim Scott or a Ron DeSantis, simply are not presidential timber.
I have no idea where you imagine there is a "conspiracy" in the FACT Biden lied about the truck driver being drunk. What a deplorably, despicable lie. But hey, be proud!!!
He may well not be made to be a President. Not everyone is. He’s still a good man and I love the message he told about God and our country needing to seek after His blessings.
Na. It was a prop by a man who worships himself to a base to idolizes him. I am not surprised you cannot tell the difference.
