?

Do you think that CPC leader Mr. Erin O'Toole will be able to lure Mr. Bernier back into his party?

  1. I am certain that he will try...... but no.... I don't think so.

  2. He will try....... full throttle and yes, I think Mr. Maxime Bernier will probably go the CPC again

  3. I don't even think that Mr. O'Toole will make any effort to lure Mr. Bernier back to the CPC

Do you think that Canada's Conservative Party Leader Mr. Erin O'Toole will be able to lure Mr. Maxime Bernier back into the Conservative Party?

Word has it that Canada's Liberal Party is surprisingly divided..... perhaps as divided as the USA Democratic Party of 2020 ........ because word has it that Biden got only sixty eight million votes to President Trump's eighty million........... but that is a speculation that we will likely know more about within six months....... Anyway...... I personally believe that Mr. Erin O'Toole will go all out to lure Mr. Bernier back into the CPC because IF HE CAN ACCOMPLISH THAT LITTLE THING.... he will very likely be Canada's next Prime Minister!?

Just in case you do not know who Mr. Maxime Bernier is this may help......

On the topic of how divided Canada's Liberal Party may well be at this time.....

Are many of Joe Biden's troubles P. M. Justin Trudeau's fault?

Here is a writing that I posted to another forum that should give Mr. Maxime Bernier and Mr. Erin O'Toole a topic worthy of discussion because........ if the majority of the membership of the PPC were to like my proposal and if they were to convince Mr. Bernier to embrace this idea this would mean that the PPC could DIVIDE THE LIBERAL PARTY VOTE....... as opposed to dividing the Canadian conservative vote....... (which would very likely greatly increase the probability for either Mr. Bernier or Mr. O'Toole to become P. M. of Canada and the other one would give the new P. M. their majority of votes in Parliament????????

Adoption of this idea by the PPC could reduce Canada's Liberal Party to third or fourth place rather than number one spot as long as the NDP and the Green Party cooperate with them.

"Would an intelligently financed UBI be dangerous for the environment?"

I would like to think that a well financed Universal Basic Minimum Income would be a lot LESS dangerous for the world environment than the existing system...... but I have to admit that there is some logic in neo-Malthusian thought on this question.

I admit it.... my own tendency to consume would logically tend to an increase in environmental destruction if all of a sudden I could spent ten times as much as I did last year.
Three economists here in Canada have presented a powerful case that the Canadian and world economy is being deliberately dampened........... there is a real possibility that one of the reasons for this may be valid......to protect the environment.

Here in Canada we had a much better central banking policy that we used from 1938 to 1974 and I really like how Ms. Betty Krawczyk explained how it worked.

    https://bettysearlyedition.blogspot.com/2015/07/how-pierre-trudeau-turned-us-into-debt.html

    Betty Krawczyk:
For example..... here in Canada with a national debt approaching one trillion......
in theory we could create a Basic Minimum Income Supplement of five hundred dollars per Canadian per month for life ......
through a loan from the Bank of Canada......
and forgive that loan once it is actually paid out to Canadians.......

This would cost about eighteen billion Canadian dollars per month but.... as it is paid to Canadians that loan through the Bank of Canada could be forgiven....
which could theoretically result in eighteen billion dollars per month going first toward our deficit... and then soon toward our national debt.

Why don't we do this you may ask?????

By Harold Chorney, John Hotson and Mario Seccareccia made some rather powerful statements related to this topic:
The logic for why that eighteen billion dollars soon going toward the deficit and then the national debt is that as it turned over roughly three times in the Canadian economy it would be taxed back into the treasury!

As the deficit would be dealt with and once Canada would begin to operate in the BLACK as opposed to operating in the RED as we do now........
it would be possible to greatly decrease the higher income tax levels giving Canadians more of an incentive to work and produce.

There is an aspect of Canada's geography that causes us to lean in the direction of several of the alternative theories on stabilization of the climate that Canadians might well be willing to invest heavily in for some obvious reasons if all of a sudden they had more disposable income to work with and invest for their retirement?

Anchorage Alaska has the second most extreme tides in the world after the Bay of Fundy. The funnelling effect that the land form of the Bay of Fundy and Anchorage Alaska has on tidal water should cause them to experience the effect of rising ocean levels first.

Residents of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are facing a rather simple mathematical problem that forces us to take a rather dim view of a Carbon Tax.

.... "If average ocean levels rose by eight to ten cms (3 or 4 inches) could high tide...
... rise by one meter in the Isthmus of Chignecto in Nova Scotia, Canada?
This question is logical because the geography of Canada's Bay of Fundy produces the world's highest tides. In my part of Nova Scotia in Guysborough County there is very little funnelling of tidal waters......... so high tide is only about one to one point five meters above low tide.
In the eastern area of the Bay of Fundy high tide levels are up by ten to fifteen meters."

Every cubic meter of ocean water that is desalinated and added to the water table of Israel, California, Algeria, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Nevada, South Africa, India or any other nation with lots of desert is really good news for the owners of the real estate along the Bay of Fundy and of Anchorage Alaska that have the second most extreme tides in the world for very similar reasons.

High tide waters are funnelled by the Bay of Fundy into a more and more narrow area and on top of that......... the Bay of Fundy is over one hundred and seventy miles long so high tide water cannot fully drain back into the ocean before the next high tide waters pile on top of them.

My point here is that there are ways that a UBI to all Canadians has the potential to be GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?

Do I have to tell you what would likely happen if, for example, Mr. Erin O'Toole became P. M. of Canada after the next federal election and Mr. Maxime Bernier and his PPC had the number of votes that gives him his majority!

No, but Joe may be responsible for Trudeau's demise if he cuts the supply of vaccine to Canada and sends a lot to South America and India.

That is an interesting way of looking at the whole thing I must admit........

I am not impressed with the vaccines in their present state but I am hopeful that within six months to a year
they may be greatly improved and the worst ones of the bunch may already be obsolete.

I learned back in 1999 how to really boost my immune system so that I hardly ever get colds anymore.....
so I feel relatively well prepared for this thing even without taking any of these present crop of vaccines that
almost certainly will not work on the virus as it mutates.

Your analysis would be more valid if Andrew Scheer had formed a minority government in 2019 because Mr. Bernier and Mr. Scheer really disliked each other..........
but although the differences between Mr. Bernier and Mr. O'Toole are serious.......
they are not as serious as the practically irreconcilable differences between Mr. Scheer, (who is reported to have snuck in over 7000 less than legitimate memberships into the CPC to push his numbers above those of Mr. Maxime Bernier in the 2017 leadership race)......

If after the next federal election either Mr. Maxime Bernier or Mr. O'Toole have enough seats that the other guy could make him P. M. then they certainly will make an effort to talk to each other very seriously.

Vaccines are likely to improve from what I've read, perhaps to the point soon of a vaccine that works against all coronaviruses. Meanwhile, I hope current versions work well enough to keep SARS-CoV-2 variants under control.
You haven't taken an mRNA vaccine against covid? Why not? Aren't you taking a chance? Do you use effective PPE in crowds?

At the moment, Bernier is a spent force in the Conservative Party. His radical politics suffered a mighty blow with the discrediting and defeat of Donald Trump. He should have remained a Conservative. If a more centrist O'Toole can't beat Wunderkind Trudeau, Bernier could have been in a good spot to be the next Conservative leader.
Small-c conservatives are itching to get at Trudeau, so much so I doubt Bernier will win a single seat in the next election. O'Toole's best shot will come if something happens to the vaccine rollout, perhaps even over a booster shot next year if there's no election in the Fall and drug companies are unable to develop a cure (Pfizer has said they may have one before 2022).

    You could well be correct.......
2019 proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Splitting the Vote is a pretty serious issue. I voted for Central - Nova PPC candidate Mr. Al Muir whereas my wife voted for CPC candidate Mr. George Canyon.

We are living proof that Splitting the Vote is a serious issue so.......
you could be correct that the PPC is in serious trouble for the next Canadian federal election.

Yes...... I do think that you are correct.......
for the record I will be trying my best to put some of your ideas in front of Mr. Maxime Bernier because some of what you wrote impresses me as perhaps being the best advice that he might have heard so far in 2021.

Here is what I have in mind.........
I am rather extremely "Libertarian" so.........

I believe that residents of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Colombia as well as......
residents of all of the northern territories of Canada have a constitution right as well as the economic and artistic freedom to begin
discussions on the advantages of making an offer to the USA to become the fifty first State.

Proposed Republic of Western Canada and Unified Field Theory of M.W.P.

When I first saw the following image it kind of shocked me............
and that power to move us Canadians emotionally has what could be termed "Artistic Value" that can be transformed into political value, diplomatic value, educational value and yes......... ECONOMIC VALUE!

Even such topics as this being more seriously discussed is rather bad news for P. M. Justin Trudeau.

If Trudeau gets a majority, Conservatives will go through a rethink. More likely they'll move left, but the turmoil brought on by losing will give the right opportunities.

You should take the vaccine. Too many people suffer long-term complications. I heard Pfizer is working on a pill for treating covid at home that could be available by December. Self-directed people making intelligent decisions advance society.

My wife is praying about and researching the Pfizer vaccine at this time......
her parents in F...... already took it and
she is quite interested due to our very well perhaps needing to travel outside of Nova Scotia within a couple of months.

It could impact whether or not you're able to obtain travel insurance. If you travel to a destination where you need travel insurance, you could find you can't get insurance without being vaccinated.

If Bernier is counting on the votes of anti-vaxxers, he's in trouble. Canadians like some libertarian ideas, but definitely support social welfare programs, so there's room in the political middle and very little traction right of mainstream conservatism. Bernier is too far to the right, especially on abortion.

    Very true........
I am still conflicted myself but it is likely that my wife will have her Pfizer vaccination within a couple of weeks.......

I would love to see Canada, America, Israel, Australia, The Netherlands, England and several other nations come together on an alternative theory of addressing climate change that would fit well with what President Trump began in the Middle East with his Abraham Peace Accords.

Get your darn shot. Do you want to chance your wife will be weeping over your grave?
Trump got spit. A few small Gulf states caught between the Saudis and Iranians signed up along with Morocco who got their wish for U.S. support for control over the Western Sahara. Funny how other countries din't support Morocco.

The Abraham Peace Accords are a big nothing.

We need to do something about climate change and that includes researching options for reducing temperatures by means other than or in addition to reducing greenhouse gases.

From what I have read so far I would greatly prefer to take my chances with COVID 19 than with the spike proteins.......

(but perhaps I will change my mind over the coming six months to a year)????????

For the moment I am of the belief that some of P. M. Justin Trudeau's top advisors and policy makers have made some serious miscalculations as to what is actually happening in Canada as well as in the USA?!

People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier arrested by RCMP in Manitoba

    @Moi621

This will tend to make Mr. Maxime Bernier extremely popular in western Canada and could well catapult him into the position of holding the balance of power that makes Mr. Erin O'Toole Prime Minister of Canada with a minority government in Canada's nest federal election?!

Frankly..... this arrest of Mr. Maxime Bernier could play a huge role in making him Prime Minister of Canada in the next Canadian federal election..... (if enough of his supporters will back him up with news items like the one quoted above(?????????

???? The vaccines are very effective. Don't wait.
I wish you luck if you wait.
Justin is slowly wearing out his welcome. I think he and the Liberals have benefitted personally from the virus.
    @Moi621
Bernier will pull votes from O'Toole, not Trudeau.

Do some research on Spike Proteins and if you are scheduled for the second shot within a few weeks you may decide against having it?

The risk of taking the vaccines is not worth it considering how few actually die from COVID 19 anyway, (once the comparison for deaths from influenza and pneumonia are factored into the overall picture).

Had my second Pfizer. I have researched the vaccines.
There's not much risk from the vaccine. Don't kid yourself, covid is more dangerous than the typical seasonal flu and pneumonia.

Members of Canada's Conservative Party have a lot of career options in front of them......
one possible option for Mr. Peter MacKay might be a semi-reality science fiction film series set in an
alternative universe 2014 to 2021 starring Prime Minister Stephen Harper as himself......
but he explores possible ways to set in motion an alternative time line to what actually happened from 2014 until now????

The following message might inspire some members of the CPC in such a way that they could begin to create more unity in Canada's political right?
