In 37BC, Edomite-jew Herod allied with Rome to conquer Jerusalem. Rome decreed Edomite-jew Herod, King of Judea. Herod proceeded to murder all the Israelite royal heirs [just like the Edomite marxists murdered the Romanovs.] Herod also totally tore down the second temple [the one Cyrus decreed built in the OT] to rebuild Herod's own third temple. Herod also tried to destroy Israel's Messiah, God's Temple made without hands, Jesus Christ, when he ordered the murder of the babes of Bethlehem.

At the time of Christ, the evil antichrist Edomite-jews were ruling both the palace and the temple and were oppressing/persecuting the real Israelites who became Cbristians.

Not sure about all this, but it's interesting. Herod did not tear down the temple, that would have been
the end of his reign. Instead he built around it - the temple mount. Want to go see that.
There's lots of genetic input into the 'modern' Jew as were occupied by Greeks, Romans etc and they
were in exile till the 1900's. I suppose you could have an 'Edom Jew' and a 'Greek Jew' and a 'Russian
Jew' etc.. I wouldn't put too much stock on the Edom thing - in fact most Jews don't even know they are
Jews because of the Assyrian exile of the ten tribes.

Back in Ezra 6:12, when Israel's second temple was completed, King Darius [Cyrus' son-in-law] put a curse on any king/people who harmed that second temple. That curse fell on Herod and his Edomite-jews.

I think there's some nuanced details here that neither of us understand. I have read that the
Pharisees and Sadducees would not permit the tearing down of the temple for two simple
reasons -
1 - it might not get rebuilt
2 - it would mean the end of the daily sacrifice.
