Wisconsin election officials identified just 27 potential cases of voter fraud out of 3.3 million ballots cast in the November presidential election and forwarded them to local district attorneys for possible prosecution, based on documents obtained Friday by The Associated Press under the state's open records law.

More than half of the total cases, 16 of 27, were people in the city of La Crosse whose registered address was at a UPS Store. State law requires voters to be registered at their residential address. The clerk sent those voters a letter giving them 30 days to register at a residential address for future elections.

Of the 11 other cases: four people voted both in person and absentee; one was a convicted felon; one was an absentee ballot returned by the son of the person who requested it and who voted in person; three people voted in two places; one person returned two absentee ballots; and one person who had been adjudicated incompetent and wasn’t allowed to cast a ballot.

Absolutely. Being Republican does not mean you like Donald Trump's brand. That's why he lost while the Republicans as a whole did not. As much as the noisier angrier snarkier folks on the internet wish it were, it wasn't "US vs.THEM" for everyone. That's where the disconnect comes from between what actually happened and what those nosier angrier snarkier folks thought would happen. They think every Republican voter is just like they are, thinks just like they do. How collectivist of them. Here I thought that was only a liberal thing.

Not every Republican voters wants a disgusting despicable human being leading the country, no matter what party he is from. Not every Republican gets their g-spot tickled by voting for a guy because he makes liberals mad. Some Republicans actually care about the country more than they do the party, even if only selectively(again, this is why the Republican party did much better than Trump himself did) and they know that any country with a Trump-like cult style leader at the helm has nowhere to go but down.

Once you're able, if you ever are, to open your eyes and see Trump for the man he is, it won't be hard to understand why he lost but the Republicans didn't. Some folks still need to cling to the voter fraud narratives to protect their psyches, but eventually time will erase that need for most and they'll be able to comprehend what happened in a rational reality-based manner.

 

I've liked Biden since he was a senator. He's the closest thing we have to the old school labor supporting Democrats which died out when Dick Gephardt retired. I'm not crazy about his capitulation to the progressives, though this is to be expected and I accept it like a big boy. Biden has assembled a broad coalition. You can't please everyone all the time with a broad coalition.

Biden is the closest thing we've had to a middle-class president since...when??? Oh yeah, the last Democrat. And before that? The Democrat before that.

So, I'm sure you can surmise that the term "trust fund baby billionaire populist" is an oxymoron in my view. At least the Bush's and Reagan didn't pretend to be for the working man.
