    WHY? HOW is it different?

The procedure and outcome of an abortion are exactly the same whether the sex was consensual or not...

OF COURSE YOU CANNOT SHOW WHERE I SAID THAT......but will claim I said it anyway...always a claim , NEVER any proof....

BUT AGAIN....you DODGED those awkward questions and facts that Anti-Choicers hate …:) :) :)

Since when do Republicans like these countries?

A Trump-fan celebrating Latin America is even more funny.

The “you” was a broad application to those supporting restrictive legislation

No, but why would you want to uphold Third World semi-theocracies as the ideal? Especially when the party you support do not want the people from there where you live "because their values are bad"?

Yes it may surprise a lot of people because it will split the court.

Who’s we? You were a liberal Democrat from the time you were 18 until you were in your 50s. Just because you have joined a new cult doesn’t make you a real Republican.

I was a then radical Democrat just as 99 percent of Democrats of today are radicals.
Actually at age 18, I could not vote. The law used today was later changed. My first presidential vote was for Kennedy. Kennedy would not have died had he been a moderate.

I terminated being a Democrat for the 1980 election. I was then 42.

Biden has the cult now. Even those alleging they do not like the man rush to protect his worthless hide.

I must decide pretty soon if I will find some Australian forum to haunt.
I do not expect any decision to not be split. Roe v Wade was split.

I replied to a personal remark directed at me.

So you want my comment to this?

Well if you want women to bear rapists children, I can't prevent you holding that belief. Robert said
OF COURSE YOU CANNOT SHOW WHERE I SAID THAT......but will claim I said it anyway...always a claim , NEVER any proof....

Frankly you were not accused of saying that. Did you fail to spot the word IF in my comments? I have not claimed you said it.

Yeah but my bet is that it will be an unexpected split because if they do thier homework they will realise what the implications of this will be

It is more than a bit obvious that she will not require an abortion if she does not get pregnant

    Now the $64,000 Question

What is the proof of rape required to be granted the right to an abortion?

Uh, Not the best dodge, "I said words again. You said words again""... but...don't worry, NO other Anti-Choicer could ever explain the hypocrisy either ;) ;)

I was born in 1938 just to set this up. First this topic is not one I welcome. It draws far too much rancor that I object to abortion than to the snuffing out of millions of humans using abortions.
Back to 1938, at that time there was virtually no news as to how to prevent pregnancy.
Today in 2021 there are doctors who will explain ways to not get pregnant. There is the Internet that explains how to not get pregnant. Women can find more information in magazines. This is not me being anti women. Women also believe as I believe that the modern woman has ways to prevent getting pregnant.

It seems to me this forum is attempting to justify taking human lives. That is repugnant to me.

You and others keep making it about rape. Women still have ways to be informed on not getting pregnant at all.

Abortion was never against the law until the 1880's when the AMA decided to monopolize all healthcare at for profit organizations.

In the USA rape is a crime and it is clearly defined in the laws here.

Millions of them died at the building where they got abortions.

    https://freakonomics.com/podcast/abortion/

The controversial theory linking Roe v. Wade to a massive crime drop is back in the spotlight as several states introduce abortion restrictions. Steve Levitt and John Donohue discuss their original research, the challenges to its legitimacy, and their updated analysis. Also: what this means for abortion policy, crime policy, and having intelligent conversations about contentious topics.
