People representing the federal government will go door to door with a vaccine and the utensils needed to administer it. They aren’t planning on going door to upon request. No one should support this plan.
Which is funny because then the same mental gymnastics will get played again. "Minorities have an inherent distrust of the government for good reason due to history so them chasing these folks out of town is understandable". So when the folks in my moms inner city black neighborhood in Baltimore chase these covax people away it's be ok and you'll see countless apologists coming out defending their actions for "understanding". When the folks in my small remote town full of loners and guns chase these covax people away they'll get called ignorant hicks and selfish anti-American idiots who want to destroy the country or something. Want proof? Read this thread, and listen to what Biden and company flat out said during the press conference.
Seriously? What do you think this is all about? He’s promoting a door to door vaccination program. He said it. Either you support it or you don’t. Claiming that he never said it is dumb. Elected officials sometimes come up with ideas which should be rejected immediately without further consideration. This is one of those ideas. Anyone who doesn’t instantly reject this idea has a malfunctioning brain.
If Biden didn’t propose this, why would Psaki defend it against criticism? https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katie...paign-is-a-disservice-to-the-country-n2592238 Speaking to reporters at the White House Thursday afternoon, Press Secretary Jen Psaki argued criticisms of the Biden administration's door-to-door Wuhan coronavirus vaccination campaign are a "disservice to the country.
I was just trying to have the guy who claims Biden never propsed this explain why Psaki is defending it against criticism.
She never said they’ll be giving out shots. A vaccine campaign may just be to educate people on why to get it, it’s efficacy and help them find someplace to get it.
Biden did say it though. She’s walking it back. That happens a lot in this administration. Biden says something and then it needs to be walked back. “Now we need to go community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood and often times door-to-door – literally knocking on doors – to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus," Biden said.
Obviously these people going door to door are going to receive some amount of resistance at times. Will the police be escorting these people to provide them protection if that resistance comes in the form of violence?
