Optically that's probably not the best decision either. It doesn't "look good" having the cops escorting people around as they go door to door trying to convince folks to take a vaccine. That sends a bad message whether it was intentional or not which would likely spark even more outrage. In areas where these people are likely to encounter resistance I'm sure the local Sheriff's will advise them of the best strategy for the area. And in many places that advice will likely be "Go away". In the small towns where folks don't tend to take too kindly to this sort of thing I highly doubt their local elected Sheriff would be willing to walk around with them anyway. From what I understand the proposed plan is to have local medical professionals as volunteers to do this. They key word here is local, and locals know their own community which means they probably aren't going to get many volunteers in these types of places anyway because as I said before walking around knocking on everyone's door in a small community like mine is the absolute worst idea imaginable. That leaves two choices, find non local volunteers or skip the community. The best thing for everyone involved would be to simply skip that particular community.
Refrigeration is required, so unless he is sending them out in ice cream trucks, best they can do is call an Uber!
Because you can’t accept that help people get vaccinated doesn’t mean giving them a shot on their porch. Maybe that’s the plan, but nothing so far shows it is.
There's no common sense in government agents knocking on our private doors and asking private medical questions. It is unprecedented and tyrannical in nature. The Biden Gestapo is fast becoming an existential threat to our constitutional freedoms.
I think you're confusing fear with respecting people's wishes. I'm not afraid of Jehovahs Witnesses or Mormon kids I just don't want them coming on my property. If I want to hear about Mormonism I'll go to the local LDS church and ask about it. Don't come bother me. I'm not afraid of covax people walking around, I just don't want them on my property. If I want to hear information about a vaccine I'll talk to my doctor or research it on my own. If I want to receive a vaccine I'll go and get one. Don't come bother me. ^^Those are the sentiments a lot of folks have, nobody is "afraid" of anybody some folks just don't want to be bothered.
The only elected official who would propose something like this is one who's a totalitarian at heart.
You have no freedom to not have your bell ring or be asked a question you don’t have to answer by a volunteer
Refrigeration is required for storage. The vaccine is not required to be kept in a refrigerator until it's used.
Unless I have violated a law, which I haven't, there is no government agency that belongs on my property or at my door. Period.
Moderna disagrees The Moderna COVID‑19 Vaccine can be stored refrigerated between 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F) for up to 30 days prior to first use. Do not refreeze once thawed.
Trump protected us by making sure the vaccine got to us early. Biden told that Trump never could do it until now or later this year.
