Or maybe he's just writing for blithering idiots and you're noticing, though your present politics keep you from seeing that with any great clarity.

There's hope for you yet m'boy.

The Supremacy Clause would stop that.

But you're wrong in saying that "Full socialism, or communism would require the fed to violate those limitations." Which limitations are those, pray tell?

Which is not very much these days, since idiot voters and uneducated morons are glad to turn more and more power over to the government in exchange for goodies.

    The Unholy Neocon–Liberal Alliance”
    The Nation
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...ive/the-unholy-neocon-liberal-alliance/tnamp/
I’ll use articles to back up my claim.
So since democrats are completely tone deaf to why somebody as flawed as trump could be elected, democrats ran with the first excuse that was spun out of the Hilary Clinton campaign, which was that Russia was to blame, along with the 800 hundred other excuses that Clinton used for why she lost to trump. But, Russia, and Putin were the biggest boogeymen. This allowed all the neocon cretins from the Bush years to come back in from the cold, and rejoin polite society, because why not, they were against trump as well, so how bad could these Cold War psychopaths be, right? That’s when America’s aggressive militaristic foreign policy became less taboo in democrat circles.

    McCarthyism 2.0
    Psychology Today
The Psychology of the New McCarthyism”

Putin puppet, Russian sympathizer, Assad apologist, Russian asset, traitor, treason blah blah blah, is this hyperbolic drivel familiar to you? I have hardly interaction with you , so I’m not accusing personally of taking part in such illogical idiocy, but this venom was spewed nonstop by the anti-trump mob nonstop, and still is happening to this very day. It didn’t matter who you were, if you didn’t tow the illiberal left’s line, you were a traitor Russian asset. This wasn’t just flung at trump, and his supporters either. People on the left were accused of being foreign assets as well.
Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein, and Tulsi Gabbard ring a bell? These are just some of the high profile names on the left, their are countless others.

    Faux Patriotism

Time For My Flag to Go Up’: How Anti-Trumpers Are Reclaiming the American Flag
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.po...-capture-the-us-flag-trump-maga-symbol-440374
On the rational left opposed to the illogical left, patriotism has always been treated with skepticism, as it should be, and if not out right distain. I personally don’t take it that far, but I am a firm believe in the old saying that patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel. Mindless patriotism has always been a calling card of the right, until trump got elected, and since trump was a super duper secret Russian asset since 1987, or some nonsense like that, the blue cult started going over the top corny Uber patriotic. This is also goes hand in hand with the Democratic new found love of McCarthyism.

    Xenophobia
    The Intercept
“Leading Putin Critic Warns how Xenophobic conspiracy theories are drowning out US discourse, and helping Trump.”

    https://static.theintercept.com/amp...drowning-u-s-discourse-and-helping-trump.html
Since Russia, and Putin have become the great bogey man, the ugly side of embracing the nonsense Russia hysteria has come out from the illogical left, and it would make the Nazis of old proud, since you k ow they hated the ethnic Slavic people as well.

This is going to have to be a two parter, in which I finish some time tomorrow, in which I explain in detail how the Democrat’s new found love of the police state, censorship, acting as apologist for political violence, and militarism all tie into their shift towards some sort of neo fascism.

I certainly hope so. So far I only see things that actually DEFINE the concept of "vague generalities"

Also, at some point can we come to an agreed-upon idea of what Fascism actually IS? I've heard it called "nationalism on steroids" and while I like that it still tells us nothing. In any case, it is NOT simply authoritarianism, though it almost has to include that

I rather like the Wikipedia definition, but some might find it broad.

And a good question that I as a writer find intriguing. Can Fascism be benign?

Has anyone read 'Das Captial' or know the meaning of Comunism I think not. You really should take the time to study about a subject before you post.

You only see what you want you want to see, and the fact that you can’t refute what I’m saying, speaks volumes.

Fascism is so casually tossed around, that the waters have been muddied beyond comprehension.
Some say it’s a far right ideology, I tend to disagree.
When you look at historical examples, economically fascism doesn’t completely borrow a economic socialist arc, but it’s close enough. The two most common aspects of fascism is nationalism, and racial identity. When you combine the two, you need a grievance, and a external or internal threat to hold it all together.
As for your last question, no I seriously doubt fascism can be benign. Much like Marxist ideology, fascism is authoritarian, and needs a foe to hold it all together. When you are always faced with a threat, you have a justification for repression, so it’s pretty much a self fulfilling prophecy. As the 20th century has clearly showed, this ends in disaster 9 out of 10 times.

Fascism, sometimes called corporatism, is nowhere near socialism economically.

Historically Fascism is closer to the economics of socialism. Corporatism is a whole different beast.
It’s almost fair to say that America has been corporatist for several decades now.

Criticizing all of America's founding values et al is just one facet of Marxism as they're applying it today in America. You said, "My god". Would that be a reference to the Christian GOD or to the secular/Marxist god?

Imagine that, Ronald Reagan perfectly summed up fascism in 42 seconds. But we'll continue to see liberals here refuse to acknowledge just how dangerous and just how un-American their political ideology has become or has always been.

That's incorrect. All fascist states retained private property and profit.

What you just stated in the above piece is exactly what Mark Levin goes into detail with how the leftist Marxists in America are spreading their ideology from his book coming out next Tuesday titled 'American Marxism'.

I'll give you two examples. One, the covid lockdowns and everything associated with it. Two, government regulations that are created by government agencies....these regulations are basically statutes that were not created by a vote of Congress, and thus by extension, the people of America. When government...through various government agencies...can create their own laws (regulations)...that in itself does not fit the Constitution or the spirit thereof. Of the people, by the people, for the people.
