I personally don’t take it that far, but I am a firm believe in the old saying that patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel. When you look at historical examples, economically fascism doesn’t completely borrow a economic socialist arc, but it’s close enough. The two most common aspects of fascism is nationalism, and racial identity. When you combine the two, you need a grievance, and a external or internal threat to hold it all together.
As for your last question, no I seriously doubt fascism can be benign. Much like Marxist ideology, fascism is authoritarian, and needs a foe to hold it all together.When you are always faced with a threat, you have a justification for repression, so it’s pretty much a self fulfilling prophecy. As the 20th century has clearly showed, this ends in disaster 9 out of 10 times.

Two, government regulations that are created by government agencies....these regulations are basically statutes that were not created by a vote of Congress, and thus by extension, the people of America.
