I wouldn't call it an economic theory, more like economic brokenness.

The failure to live up to those values is BS.

The only complaints I hear about America is phony claims of racism. Such as pretending cops Target black people because they're black. In that we need to treat minorities like their less capable because people think they're less capable and they think that helps.

I was a socialist in college. Member of the campus socialist club; subscribed to the Fabian Society; etc. Got suspicious when the first two issues of the Fabian newspaper had no -- as in zero -- articles on economics. Got more suspicious after learning the professors behind socialism were professors of political science and history, not economics. Then a couple of real economic professors spoke to our club and, surprisingly to our club sponsor, both excoriated socialism as an economic system and commented historically that no socialist country had made significant if any improvement in people's lives. I never looked back. .

 

Communism is the goal. Marxism is the ideology to get them there. More specifically Neo marxism.
