You live in your world and I will live in my world.
I like my world 10,000 times better than I like your world.
In fact, I don't like your world any at all as in this > 0.0000000000000000000000

Meanwhile I will spend my time doing at least one thing every day
to make the world a better place and that one thing will be done from a Christian
    context.

And we have different definitions of the world "honest"
and we do not agree, thank God, on what is, or is not, false.

The problem with congregations is that I think they revolve around bad people.

Let's also remember that the USA is 4% of the world.

Thus, the "America First" limitation so frequently supported by the religious right is a very serious limitation on any positive effect we might want to claim concerning the other 96% of the world. We have turned our nation into a "me first" nation. That fact shows up in data concerning comparative generosity of giving by the various nations of the world.

Let's remember that "feeding the poor" of America is needed, but it is not a solution and it is not growing to BE a solution.

It is support for our system, covering for where it is not succeeding to the degree we want. For example, our growth in wealth is limited to those who are already wealthy. And, there is NO will in our nation to reduce that gross disparity.

For example, throughout our COVID pandemic the rich got decidedly richer while those paying rent have built up serious debt that they may never be able repay.

That survey has nothing at all to do with the issue I was noting - aid we give to foreign countries.

I pointed out that as opposed to the "America First" direction of America.

On that list, we are 29th.

We give them MONUMENTAL support that they use in ethnic cleansing Palestine, hiring the mercenaries that enforce foreign rule on the citizens of that country, and maintain Gaza as an open air prison.

And, as good Americans, we claim that is CHARITY!!!

Then guys like YOU claim that our relationship with Israel proves something about the "charity" we present to the entire world - LOL!!!

So then do you see "the penalty phase" as a negative aspect?

There's a good chance humans will cause their own extinction before your dream takes place.
I doubt the mega churches will make any difference to climate change.

Didn't Jesus himself teach on a hill somewhere outside in nature?

Lol...when God himself writes a book on theology, it might be worth reading.
Anything else is nothing more than human opinions.

so in other words by those wackadoodle crazy standards if I dictate a legal brief to my secretary for the court outlining and proving you committed a hangable offense, because the secretary wrote it instead of me, its just a fantasy? I suppose when you are swinging from a rope because of that legal brief thats just a fantasy too?

To be honest.....most anything humans think, do, or say
beside eat, drink, breathe and other necessary bodily functions....
is nothing more than "fantasy"...or perhaps more precisely...drama.

Like the US Constitution and the Bill Of Rights?
In your world, its merely a human opinion that John Doe
morally ought to be safe in his own home from say home
    invasion and armed robbery?

You're not entering into the spirit of serious discussion.
You're playing the "return fire" game ~ that means that regardless
of what I say to you, you've already made up your mind NOT to
seriously enter into the spirit of what I say, but rather to compose
a quick snappy return-fire one-two liner come back.

A church of say 10,000 people with the elderly, the somewhat sick, the
disabled, and with young children, some of them babies, and that has
between 6 -10 different services per week cannot survive as a church
meeting in an open field (heat, rain, snow, wind.)

Prediction: If you respond, you'll be able to think up some kind of a
come-back ~~ just 'bout anything will be acceptable , , , 'cause this
is Thread World on the Internet At large and you know how that goes, eh?

No Sir....that's not my intention at all.
IMO...if your Jesus did manage to return...and saw your mega churches,
he'd probably over turn the bingo tables and chase you all out of there with a bat.
You can call that a snappy reply or what ever you want...but it's just my two cents.

I'm not sure what you are saying there.
Are you saying God wrote those things?
    Can you explain?

Actually you are about as close to truth as you can get...IMO.
Humans are addicted to thinking....they cant help themselves.
Drugs and alcohol give them some relief from their minds...
or maybe anti-depressants help a little.
Some may even need Lithium or Quetiapine
