So you are applying the silly Texas law to the entire party?
    Alrighty then!
That’s a separate topic but I agree with you on that law

No, that would be what YOU are saying. You people also think they can't manage to get ID and the racist in the WH thinks they dont know how to use the internet.

All it takes is a 2 -3% shift in women's votes, and the Republicans have a hard time winning elections.

"Nationally, Clinton picked up 54 percent of women voters compared with Trump’s mere 42 percent. But Trump outperformed Clinton among white women, winning 53 percent of voters in that demographic. Drilling down further, he beat Clinton among white women without college degrees by 27 points. In the three states that decided the election — Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan — that margin was enough to send Trump to the White House.

This is not to say that these Trump-supporting women weren’t offended by Trump’s comments or actions. Rather, it unravels the common illusion that women are a cohesive voting bloc. Women’s politics are also shaped by other personal factors."

Perhaps he has cleared a path for a successful run for the Senate. Personally I'm not impressed with Elder. He has done a lot of whining and finger pointing on TV and that doesn't work well with me. But I would say he would be preferable to Newsom or perhaps Feinstein.

There have always been black conservatives. Thomas Sowell, Alan Keyes, Tim Scott come to mind. Being of a certain race does not preclude one from having different political perspectives. Eder has always posed himself as a Libertarian but it was pretty hard to believe when he wholeheartedly supported the Cheney/Bush war profiteering machine.

Well it was the president of the United States who said it so one has to assume that that seems to be the case, right?

Because he wouldn't lie would he? only Trump lies... Or so I'm told

No experience screwing tax payers and parents. Notice how no one can defend Newsom with results?

From my experience on this forum, avoiding answering direct questions seems to be something BOTH sides do. Not sure if it’s because of a lack of critical thinking skills or balls. Meh…guess it doesn’t matter either way. Not my problem.

LOL, the Conservative position is that black folks are just as capable of a simple task as anyone else. Is it backwards day where you reside?

I'm of two minds on this. Part of me thinks this recall is a bunch of nonsense; that since Californians elected Newsom, they should have to live with it till the end of his term. On the other hand, they have been given an opportunity to turn their state around. If they don't take this opportunity, California is truly lost.

    Go Elder!

It's actually pretty on point. Darth is on about Black politicians breaking the mold and going against the sentiment that Biden expresses in that quote. Do you think there is not a strong messaging and culture among many black people that they must vote Democrat to be "black"?

Darth was exaggerating that and being dramatic, but he does have a point. Yes, of course black people know they can vote for whoever they want, but they face strong social pressure to vote Democrat and Elder may be eroding that a bit.

Elder does whine a lot. A similar messaging but much better done would be John McWhorter.
