The notion of this happening only to Republican voters is a completely made up detail on the first article's part. The information they seem to be basing this notion on is one voter saying that to their knowledge "many" of the people effected are Republican, however there is no sited source of any kind to suggest that only Republicans were effected, or that the majority of the people effected were Republicans for that matter. Even the voter who made the suggestion was more practical in their phrasing than the first linked article. For starters, they did not phrase it as a statement of fact, and they also didn't say that only Republicans were effected. It would appear the first article simply made up the information, given that they didn't site any source to support their claim

Furthermore, the error which was identified in San Fernando was resolved, and this information is included in the second link. No one lost their vote from this error

The article quotes one 88 year old woman who said she had trouble voting. She also says other did.

The story has not been corroborated in any way by the other people she said were having issues.

Actually, the quoted article said 'countless', which implies a large number. In actual fact it just means they can't be bothered doing research & prefer to deal in rumours.

Perhaps something bad has happened here, perhaps not. Relying on a source that uses terms like 'countless' for a few documented cases is not the way to find out.

 

You provided two sources, yet you only quoted the one claiming 'countless' Republicans being told they had voted. Why not quote the other source, that says this:

Guess quoting that source sorta kills the thread, doesn't it? I'm not convinced you even read it.

So, the only basis for this impacting a large number of people who were Republican is a single person making that claim based on what she heard. Even by the low standards of 'proof' Trumpers will accept that is pretty weak.

Turns out there was a problem with the system that has been fixed. No great conspiracy. No cheating. Just a brief problem with the system.
