    Science knows what's best to fight the pandemic, not Biden. Biden's decisions are based on science, not politics.

    We will see if court challenge will prevent these mandates. Otherwise, tough titties. The President is obviously trying to do whatever he can to eradicate this virus in accordance of what health officials are saying. If I truly believed that it would hurt me, I would not take the shot regardless of any governmental mandates or edicts. I have never paid any attention to them anyway. I researched it and held out until Aug 15th before getting my first shot of Pfizer after it was approved. I am not a vaccine guy but once I was satisfied that it would not hurt me I got it because I spend a lot of time in NY and like to eat inside and go to music and theater venues too. I was not afraid of getting the virus before getting a shot as I have always had strong immune system and I am not afraid of those two shots killing me either for the same reason. I got both now and have had no ill effects. I lot of people are dying though including a few nutty anti vax radio blowhards I know of. I think people like Biden, Newsom and others are following their consciences and trying to eradicate this plague in order to save American lives. Maybe he’s right and maybe he’s wrong but he certainly is not in on some evil plan to kill all of his voters.

    Imagine is we went back a year and said that Biden would propose this vaccine mandate. We would be called conspiracy theorists. Now, the left acts as if it's just another Wednesday. The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

    If we go back a year, Trumpists were primed to celebrate Trump's amazing Warpspeed vaccine initiative. The election changed all that.

    Trumpists think medical science is politics. The rest of us aren't so afflicted.

    Great post, I agreed with some things mentioned. However, I don't agree that it's the job of the gov't to make the decision for anyone. Saying it is justified because it will save lives isn't cutting it either. Otherwise, let's ban all junk food, sugar, cigarettes and other tobacco, alcohol, artificial food dye, preservatives, cars, trains, planes, dangerous hobbies, etc.

    If we all get vaxxed, the virus still lives since it still can transfer and infect. The vax does reduce the hospitalization and deaths, but it doesn't seem to do much to stop the infections.
