Trump Calls Allies to Demand Gen. Mark Milley Be ‘Arrested’ for ‘Treason’

Trump was hated because he couldn’t be controlled like the puppet that Biden is.

 

Someone thinks the constitution is toilet paper. I am not surprised so many in the left don’t understand our form of government and prefer the methods of the third world.

Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.

Usurping the presidents authority, withholding nuclear codes and telling our enemies he would warn them of attack is the EPITOME of giving aid to the enemy.

The constitution can be used to justify something wrong, just as the Bible was used to justify things that were wrong. A document is no substitute for morality and common sense. They are guidelines that can be used to guide a nation into greatness as well as used as an excuse to lead it into oblivion. Wisdom is required in addition to a good set of guidelines. One without the other is a recipe for abuse and disaster.

blindly following laws without wisdom and good judgement leads to things like the Holocaust. History is filled with examples of nations of law that end in disaster when laws are misused or written or interpreted for personal gain or the gain of special interests over the general public.

 

Common sense, logic, and of course the constitution doesn’t rank very high with the Trump haters.

when you think something as terrible as war between nuclear powers may happen unless you break the rules, then yes, absolutely, 100%, to hell with the rules, and do what you need to to prevent that catastrophe.

And to put a super fine point on it, I'd have the same reaction is a general did it to Biden. Even if I know he's bat crazy. General officers don't get to commit treason for their own justifications. It's illegal. It's called treason for a reason.

 

nothing was going to happen unless a nuclear strike was imminent. If we were about to launch a nuclear first strike, then I would absolutely want that prevented. None of us win when the nukes start flying. I trust that generals judgement far more than Trump’s narcissistic judgement.

The alleged situation with Milley is precisely why we are a nation of laws, not men and their caprices. What Milley thought was not grounds for violating the rules (Constitution) that he swore to support and defend.
