The AFP raids on ABC premises and those of the Reporters. Yes, they occurred. It was after the ABC showed a gutsy programme on Four Corners (the same mob who sent that crew to interview Sidney Powell and they exposed her as snake oil central) which revealed possible SAS atrocities in Afghanistan. The ABC challenged the warrants which were found to be valid by the Federal Court and the ABC accepted that decision, making no appeal. The Government does have a legitimate interest in how its 'secrets' may have been exposed to ensure no Law was broken in making that exposure. I am unaware of anyone being prosecuted as a result of the raids. Read this: Link. 2. "Nationwide man hunt for a bloke who sneezed in a lift," or words similar. What total hyperbolic rubbish. The wanker in the lift was Covid positive and was legally supposed to stay in his farking room. Instead, the arzehole chose to be defiant, came second. "He fought the Law and the Law won." Nothing to do with the sneeze, all to do with an arzehole breaching quarantine. 3. The protestors. Gawd.....they were a violent mob also breaching quarantine requirements. They were supposed to be CMFEU Union blokes protesting. The head of that very Union, a fella , John Setka (read that link] for more information on the 'protest,') with a very smelly record of thuggery himself, came out and publicly disassociated himself and that mob with any Union protest. 4. Western Australia (WA.) It has been highly successful in managing the Covid deal. Carlson seeks to completely distort what is happening to suit the agenda of Fox. Pathetic. WA has shut its borders, meaning people from other States cannot go there unless they comply with strict quarantine arrangements. This is common across Australia. It has SFA to do with international activity, and at the moment, the entire Country allows for extremely limited travel into Australia from overseas. Even the PM (after his recent visit to the US) has to go into strict quarantine after returning to Australia from the US. WA and Queensland have been the most successful States in Australia in managing the nasty. 5. 'Walked a block from his house.' For a cigarette, was it? Tough tit. He had no right to be there for any bloody reason and was dealt with. No issue. "He fought the Law and the Law won." 6. Doesn't vaccination work etc. Of course it bloody works. It does not stop anyone getting the nasty, or transmitting the nasty, it minimises the impact of the nasty to a great extent. No-one (except Fox it seems) argues that the jab is a silver bullet. 7. Can't go to Church etc. FMD!!! Carlson is so shallow!!!! Sure, you can go to Church, but the Law limits the number who can be there at any one time. Further, this loopy happy clapper Church failed to comply with "check in" requirements as well. It snubbed its nose at the Law. "It fought the Law and the Law won." 8. Oh...and there was something about 'two cases in Queensland.' Jayzuz, ignorant Carlson.......Queensland was enjoying NO cases for quite a while and we have been holding the tide back. When some of that tide breaches the dykes, we react immediately with the modest measure of requiring wearing a mask. Gawd, how hard is that. No-one is being asked to take a bullet....wear a bloody mask. Big deal, and I feel so violated having to do so. Grow up Fox/Carlson. Your freedoms do not trump mine, far car! 9. And then came the apocalyptic 'new World order.' Again....yawn and FMD!! That comment from the CHO of New South Wales was/is a statement of the blindingly obvious. The Planet is gonna have to learn to live with this nasty just like it had to with the flu. In the meantime, to reduce the total impact of it, vaccinations levels have to be seriously increased into the 80% of population level, and sure...there will be ongoing boosters, until this nasty exhausts itself, if it ever does. That comment from that CHO was nothing more than reality and it is totally boring, so much so, that is the very reason no-one gives it any significance other than Fox and this dickhead, Tucker Carlson, who is now permanently on my 'idiot radar.'
I have about as much faith we'll ratchet these measures back once we hit 80% as I did when we were "just slowing the spread for 4-6 weeks". Which is to say sweet **** all.
Typical. He achieves several things with this screed. 1) Makes his viewers feel superior as MAGA Americans to other countries. American exceptionalism and such... 2) Feeds the xenophobia of the MAGA crowd. 3) Reassures his viewers that it is okay to be the ignorant American who knows nothing about other countries other than stereotypes from movie clips. 4) Sprinkle in some "authoritarian" accusation to attack the left and make it look like covid is no big deal and doesn't need a government response. Here is one of my stereotypes: 99.9% of Tucker viewers have never been to Australia. 50% probably have never left their own state or even their county. No wonder they have closed minds.
It doesn't seem like you have any factual disagreements with Tucker's report, more like you were justifying it, so...what's the problem?

Why give the OP more space... Justification for the jack booted thugs in Australia... All because the socialist bottom feeders created laws that frankly are both stupid, and unnecessary, and their enforcement creates an environment where going about your day is no longer possible. Who gave these socialists the right to create these laws in the first place? And because they did, what recourse do ordinary folks have to challenge them without being attacked by the jack booted thugs? If it was modern, and in color, this looks pretty similar to any tyranny from Soviet Russia to China to and Eastern European dictator from the 20th century. Folks , including Australians, fought a world war to stop these kinds of criminals abusing their power to enslave their populations. And now, in the name of "safety" this lot of self important wanks have used the most draconian of laws to shutter their nation and enslave their people. Australian politicians have lot their F'n minds. And China smiles as what were the only challengers to their brand of despotism crumble under the weight of their bioweapon.
Lots of folks in australia believe their socialist leaders are puppets of China. And of course, we can't sell our nuclear technology directly to china.. so Xiben needed a proxy?
Sigh...I'd hate to think that's so, BUT....considering they've been stridently anti-nuclear ANYTHING this sudden "need" for nuclear powered subs...yet nowadays the once "impossible" has a way of morphing into "quite possible".
So right here we have a thread about Tucker. Innocent enough, some may like him, some may not, not important. What is important here is post#3. It only took til post #3 for that Orangeman to appear. He may not be the potus anymore but you know he still may be the most powerful person in the world.
