    Bend has almost doubled in size since I bought there 11 years ago. Almost all CA refugees (me included) with some Seattleites and Portlanders for good measure. Sadly, they brought their culture and voting habits with them, by and large. Like locusts, they ruin one place, move on to the next.

    Yes but as noted, Washington the black guy DID start hitting on his girlfriend right there in the bar, apparently words were exchanged the Washington was the aggressor and instigator of the violence according to the attorney and the alleged video tape. So the strained attempted to equate to a lynching as in back in the 1950's and earlier fails on it's face.

    Oh of course. It's disgusting, frankly. Pandering at its worst. As I said, I know this DA, not well, but loosely connected through some business groups and civic organizations. We've clinked glasses at a fundraiser or two. He's your typical Gen-X squishy SNAG (remember that one LOL), never met a woke word he didn't like, now states his pronouns... How the hell he has the gall to say "he/him" is beyond me. Interestingly, our sheriff -- guy by the name of Shane Nelson -- real standup guy. Has declared Deschutes County as a sanctuary county. But not the kind the proggies like: No, sir, I'm talking the good kind of sanctuary jurisdiction: Deschutes County, Oregon is a SECOND AMENDMENT SANCTUATRY! Nelson, along with about four other sheriffs in adjoining counties have told Gov. Kate Brownshirt where it can stick its ridiculous new gun laws. And by the Oregon Constitution, they have every legal right to do so. Oh the governor is FURIOUS that anyone dare defy its authority, and penis-owners at that! But as you can imagine Sheriff Nelson and DA Hummel are definitely not playing in the same foursome at charity tournaments...

    Cool. I get over to Eugene quite often. What I love about Central Oregon is that I can drive 10 minutes and find good backstop and legal public lands for 2A exercise any day of the week.

    Central Oregon is beautiful. But then, so is all of Oregon, really. I have fond memories of a guided bass fishing trip I took on the John Day River with my son a couple years ago.

    We have a media that is bent on dividing America. They do it to bolster their ratings......or is it because the drive is to benefit a Marxist American agenda and the source of their income? They search high and low for stories like this, meanwhile completely overlooking stories that do not benefit their agenda over all!

    Actually you're right. Because a black shooter would be charged with 1st degree murder, found guilty and sentenced to life without parole which is standard and not newsworthy. But it's a white guy that has been charged it's an issue.
