The inherant axioms, facts, etc upon which a "right to unrestricted abortion" is predicated on are, of course, inferior than the axioms upon which rights for the unborn are.

The overwhelming facts, logic, and evidence when properly arranged and interpreted do. So I shouldn't be under anymore burden to "prove it" than I should to "prove" that "the earth is round". People should just accept this reality by default and save others the trouble of "proving" anything to them.

Likewise, an ambiguous notion of "God" has nothing to do with "rights" to begin with, or whatever inherent facts or axioms (e.x. biology) are used to assert a legal imperative for the recognition of such rights.

Which is easily changed and rendered nonexistent by our 6-3 conservative Supreme Court. They'll cease to exist, and you won't be able to argue that they "should exist"; you'll comply with our reinterpretation of the law whether you like it or not.

In the world of abortionists, the so-called "right" to murder supersedes the right to life.

Laws and rights have to have some basis, either secular humanist man's or God's. Are you sure that you want to open this smelly can of worms by defending secular humanist man's?

Okay forget “rights” how about the practicality of stopping abortion

In this day of abortifacients such as Mifepristone how do you know if a woman has had an abortion? How do you differentiate between abortion and miscarriage?
How do you stop women from crossing a border?
how are you going to police and stop the backyard abortionists?
How are you going to determine between a surgical abortion and removal of retained products of pregnancy (same procedure just one is done after a miscarriage or threatened miscarriage)
How will you prove that an abortion was NOT done for medical reasons?

    interested in your answer

While guns are regulated there are safety protocols you can require

Same as abortion - while it is regulated there are safety protocols you can require such as limiting abortion to pre-viability

In the words of the so called “pro-lifers” the “rights of a clump of cells supersedes any rights of the living breathing functioning being

Gun ownership will take place illegally. Why is it so important to ban legal gun ownership?

I only ask because you liked the comment when 'gun ownership' was 'abortion'... so whats the difference?

By any means necessary, same as child porn is policed.

Plus it's already been mentioned that "stopping backyard abortions" is less important than stopping legal abortions to begin with.

It's not going to happen "any minute" - it will be done once the Supreme Court has their say and then it's decided, and they'll be nothing you can do about it.

Wouldn't surprise me either that once Roe vs Wade is rendered null and void, we can start hacking away at Obergefell vs Hodges and same-sex marriage (since if a case comes up before our Supreme Court similar to this one, it will be easy to reinterpret things and render the current decisions on the subject null and void).

That's a false dichotomy. "Secular Humanism" is just a cult with a fixed set of beliefs or principles held on faith with or without invoking a God. And is such a niche that it has no bearing on the greater myriad of "beliefs" which could potentially be invoked in any situation.

Except that allowing the clump of cells to live will not cause the living breathing functioning being to die.

I'm not sure where you got that information from, but according to the dictionary secular humanism is:

    NOUN
    1. humanism, with regard in particular to the belief that humanity is capable of morality and self-fulfillment without belief in God.

What term would you like to use that fits your Godless worldview?

Sooo Hoo hoo investigators at every border? For every international flight the women have to lie on their backs on a baggage conveyor in the lithotomy position whilst they are checked to ensure they are not smuggling foetuses?
Are you factoring in that the number of backyard abortions will at least equal your current abortions?

MAKING ABORTION ILLEGAL DOES NOT REDUCE THE NUMBER OF ABORTIONS

look at the international experience in this including in Ireland where women would just hop across to England

    No.

Laws and rights are based on facts , not some mythical being like a "god".

Sure, I'm sure some got based on stupidity and religion but that crap should be weeded out..

Not surprised you have a list of people to attack...your hatred extends to others like homosexuals....who is next on your hate list?

Going to go down your list until only straight white males have rights?

Ah yes, the old "If I don't snuff that clump of cells from my womb I'm gonnna dieeeeeeee!" lie.

Even Alan Guttmacher (the former head of Planned Parenhood, the nations largest abortion mill) admits that the vast majority of abortions are done out of pure convienence.

Reasons for Abortion •Reasons in 2004. Among the structured survey respondents, the two most common reasons were “having a baby would dramatically change my life” and “I can’t afford a baby now” (cited by 74% and 73%, respectively—Table 2). A large proportion of women cited relationship problems or a desire to avoid single motherhood (48%).
    3711005.pdf (guttmacher.org)

That same Alan Guttmacher, who was the President of Planned Parenthood in the 1960's and into the early 1970's said this:

Of course medical technology has vastly improved since 1967, showing that still there is no need for an abortion to save the mother's life.
What Percentage of Abortions Are Medically Necessary? (hli.org)

Don't you just hate it when I use abortionists to disprove your case?

Please show stats showing that no women ever die from pregnancy.

Then as to your "for convenience" thing

    OF COURSE IT'S FOR CONVENIENCE!!!

What TF else would it be for ?

It is inconvenient to have a kid you can't afford.

It is inconvenient to suffer financial setbacks.
It is inconvenient to suffer educational setbacks.
It is inconvenient to lose your job.
It is inconvenient to suffer the effects, diseases, damage and pain due to pregnancy.
It is inconvenient to go through 9 months of pregnancy.

Did you REALLY think women had abortions for fun !!!!!!??????????????????????

And as an aside, no MAN would ever offer to suffer through the above..

And here is the part of the post you didn't bother to read ;);)

The graph above shows percentages of pregnancy-related deaths in the United States during 2014–2017 caused by:
    • Other cardiovascular conditions, 15.5%.
    • Infection or sepsis, 12.7%.
    • Cardiomyopathy, 11.5%.
    • Hemorrhage, 10.7%.
    • Thrombotic pulmonary or other embolism, 9.6%.
    • Cerebrovascular accidents, 8.2%.
    • Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, 6.6%.
    • Amniotic fluid embolism, 5.5%.
    • Anesthesia complications, 0.4%.
    • Other noncardiovascular medical conditions, 12.5%.
The cause of death is unknown for 6.7% of all 2014–2017 pregnancy-related deaths.

While the contributions of hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (i.e., preeclampsia, eclampsia), and anesthesia complications to pregnancy-related deaths have declined, the contributions of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular accidents, and other medical conditions have increased.12 Studies show that an increasing number of pregnant women in the United States have chronic health conditions such as hypertension,13,14 diabetes,14-17 and chronic heart disease.12,18These conditions may put a woman at higher risk of complications during pregnancy or in the year postpartum. Causes of and risk factors for pregnancy-related deaths between 1987 and 2016 have been published.2-3, 7-11

If that is so why do we still have more than one woman a month die in Australia and we have one of the lowest material mortality rates on the planet
    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/may/30/texas-maternal-mortality-crisis-black-women-medicaid

You want to stop abortions - then stop the number one reason - poverty

Bring up the specific cases of these women (I doubt that HIPPA related laws will allow the media to show if they had underlying health conditions), so we can look at those cases...one by one.

So why aren't all poor people killing their babies?

Form your pst:‘It’s easy to dismiss Black women’s lives’: Texas drags feet on maternal mortality crisis

    Excerpt
The US has the highest maternal death rate among similarly developed countries and is the only industrialized nation where such deaths are rising. But according to data from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in Texas the maternal mortality rate is above the US average, at 18.5 deaths per 100,000 live births.

Black women in the state are “disproportionately” affected, accounting for 11% of live births but 31% of maternal deaths. Wide racial and ethnic disparities exist nationally too.""""

And THAT is probably why someone doesn't care about maternal mortality ;) ;)

Maybe if you tried reading posts you would learn something:

While the contributions of hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (i.e., preeclampsia, eclampsia), and anesthesia complications to pregnancy-related deaths have declined, the contributions of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular accidents, and other medical conditions have increased.12 Studies show that an increasing number of pregnant women in the United States have chronic health conditions such as hypertension,13,14 diabetes,14-17 and chronic heart disease.12,18These conditions may put a woman at higher risk of complications during pregnancy or in the year postpartum. WHY TF would you need to look at every case ????

What TF are you talking about....poor people aren't killing babies !!!

Because as we learned from a pro abortion ally of yours, the former President of Planned Parenthood, Alan Guttmacher, death due to pregnancy is unheard of (unless cancer plays a part_.

I thought poverty was a legitimate excuse for abortion?
