    I dis-agree.
    Obama was a fine President!
    A lot better than many others before , and a big lot better then a certain one after him.
    I seem to have forgotten his name, but I remember that it started with a D and ended with an onaldtrump.

    Pretty early for that Seth. However these days whoever happens to be President will be deeply hated by the fans of the opposition party. The press and media from either side is about as hateful and hyperbolic as can be. Pretty sad really.

    I was not a big fan of Obama (nor did I vote for him), but those 'scandals' are pretty light-weight. Republicans did their best to whip them into something more, but there just was not enough juice in them. "Investigating" Bengazi for 4 years and then dropping it the day after 2016 elections revealed it as a 100% political stunt (which most people knew all along).

    All of them have positives and negatives. For example Nixon instituted a policy that all arguments on any decision must be submitted in writing so he could review them without anyone else around. That policy remained in place until the Bush/Cheney regime.

    In my lifetime Ike was someone I would have voted if I were old enough. JFK was a horndog but that was offset by being a visionary leader. LBJ was a scheming conniver but he did push through Civil Rights albeit for nefarious partisan gain. Nixon was a paranoid whackjob who started the INIQUITOUS War on Drugs but also set up the EPA. Ford was a nonentity whose only significant accomplishment was occupying the Oval office while never being elected. Carter was well meaning but ineffectual. St Reagan was the best ACTING president but triggered the current DEFICIT SPENDING and grew the National Debt. Bush sr was clueless but he did manage to unite allies and win the Gulf War. Clinton was another horndog who gave away the broadcast spectrum for a pittance while presiding over the best post WW2 economy. Bush/Cheney were puppet and master and both deserve to be tried and imprisoned for war crimes. Crashing the economy was the "high point" of that regime. Obama wasted too much political capital and lacked the resolve to just push Medicare for All when the Republicans obstructed everything. After that he failed to seize the opportunities that his office provided. The biggest *LOSER* is the only one to have ZERO positives and OVERWHELMING negatives. Ridding the nation of his NOXIOUS influence was the best part but the lasting DAMAGE he has done to We the People with his DIVISIVE RACISM and egotistical GREED is going to remain for many decades to come unfortunately.
