The worst Presidents

I don't know about zero positives with Trump. He did manage for the most part to stay away from foreign war adventures. Therefore, I would rank GWB worse than Trump, because GWB lied to get us into a war that cost 1000s of American lives, 100,000s of Iraqi lives, and trillions of dollars, all that while cutting taxes at home, leading to the debt explosion in the late 2000s. While 1/6 and Trump's covid response were very bad, they pale in comparison to GWB's misdeeds.

 

How about we compromise and have them TIED for LAST place?

 

Yeah almost anything would be better than biden

I would be interested to know how a recitation of publicly available numbers could possibly be considered 'partisan' by an otherwise healthy mind. Could you elaborate as to how it is partisan? Or is this simply a case of 'the truth hurts' when applied to your side?

 

I will add that Abe Lincoln scores first place worst president.

We still are fighting Democrats over this same issue.
ABE by invading states created a war costing this nation over 630,000 deaths on both sides.
People who are not angry over the FDR created wars are still angry over the alleged Civil war.
He did the most damage in total.

Nope. No one in the last 100 years has demonstrated the sheer feckless and destructive incompetence of team Biden. You couldn't do a better job of destroying the country if you tried than what Biden & Co. have done.

I would say Biden is the worst, followed closely by Trump. It's a photo finish.

 

My main issue is decentralised power, with executive overreach not far behind. Lincoln scores low on these issues for me, not far behind FDR.

The worst Presidents in my 3/4 century lifetime (it's difficult to put them in the proper order of who's the worst so this is the tentative order):

1. Donald Trump - Unhinged, totally demented narcissist who was/is only all about himself. War criminal, 400,000 dead on his watch, violator of human rights, Constitutional criminal, racketeer, sexual predator, insurrectionist, fascist, no positive qualities whatsoever.

2. George W. Bush - 9/11 on his watch, ignored multiple warnings, stood down on 9/11 and attempted to block any investigation, complicity to terrorism and possible deeper involvement. War criminal, hundreds of thousands massacred on his watch in genocidal wars based on overt lies under pretext of 9/11, violator of human rights including but not limited to torture and indefinite detention absent due process, Constitutional criminal, racketeer, fascist.

3. Richard Nixon - Vietnam war on his watch including deliberately extending the war for his own gains. Watergate and the illegal war on drugs. War criminal, hundreds of thousands dead on his watch, violator of human rights, Constitutional criminal, racketeer, fascist.

4. Barack Obama - War criminal, hundreds of thousands massacred on his watch in an extension of the Bush genocide, indiscriminate drone murders of innocent people, violator of human rights, continuation of torture and indefinite detention absent due process, Constitutional criminal.

5. Lyndon Johnson - Vietnam war on his watch escalated under a false flag. War criminal, hundreds of thousands dead on his watch, violator of human rights, Constitutional criminal, racketeer.

6. Harry Truman - Dropped 2 nuclear weapons on innocent civilians murdering a couple of hundred thousand, Korean war on his watch, hundreds of thousands dead on his watch, violator of human rights, Constitutional criminal, architect of the CIA criminal organization.

Honorable mention for the list of worst: Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan.
