SNIP Former President Donald Trump has been ordered to give testimony under oath on Monday for a lawsuit brought by a group of demonstrators who say they were roughed up by his security guards outside of Trump Tower in New York. The suit is one of at least 10 civil cases pending against Trump, and the videotaped deposition — which will be played as Trump's testimony when the case goes to trial — will be the first since he was elected president in 2016. "We will be taking the trial testimony of Donald Trump, under oath, on Monday after years of the defendants’ dilatory attempts to shield him from this examination," said Benjamin Dictor, an attorney for the protesters. "We look forward to presenting the video of Mr. Trump’s testimony to a jury at his trial.” ENDSNIP https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-deposed-monday-protesters-lawsuit-185014640.html Let the lying commence! Too bad this is on a case nobody really knows anything about (with all the various lawsuits against this dipstick) I think we can all be assured this won't be the last deposition in his near future... I want to see him flail away someday against a live lawyer, in a case I do care about.... I'd PAY to see that... What's the time over/under on his first deposed lie? I'm setting it at 15 minutes.... Over or under??
Too bad he won't get deposed about the events of Jan.6th. IF this deposition actually happens... THEN I would expect a litany of "I don't remember/I don't recall"...
This all depends of Trump made any tweets saying “my bodyguards will protect me and it might get rough” This would mean it’s “incitement” This would make the body guards “insurrectionists”
So, on his first "I don't remember", would that be the first lie, or would the lie be the time he said he had one of the best memories in the world?? SNIP "Did I say I have a great memory or one of the best in the world?" Trump asked for clarification, to which he was told he'd said he had "one of the best in the world." "I don't remember saying that. As good as my memory is, I don't remember that, but I have a good memory," Trump responded. "So you don't remember saying that you have one of the best memories in the world?" Forge asked. "I don't remember that. I remember you telling me, but I don't know that I said it," Trump continued. They’re suing him over comments about illegals? You mean someone’s feelings got hurt? Have fun. Trump didn’t know anything about what happened and wasn’t involved. Do you think his story is going to change since 2016?
I see this thread is going to be like viagra to the left. Trump had nothing to do with it, those were his words in 2016. Take cold showers, all of you.
You'd lose your shirt on that bet. I give it 3-4 minutes. First they will ask him his full name. He'll have to look at his embroidered diaper to remember it. Everything after that will be a bald-faced lie. EVERYTHING. There is no way in Hades he can spout for 14 minutes before telling a lie. The truth makes his Orange Jesus skin burn like when vampires get exposed to the sun.
Well, at least he's had 5 years to come up with one he won't remember and will lie about if he did.... Again, I don't give a rats ass about this case.... To me, it's just good practice for him to get ready for the real suits...
I was sort of "The House" in that scenario.. I set the over/under and the odds for each.... fortunately, I didn't do the 2nd part of that.. 3-4 minutes sounds about right, but I built in time for lawyers to talk and his untrained monkey lawyers to object to every question...
Actually, this seems to be an assault case... reading the OP I provided might have paid off there... As usual, T**** originally threw a subordinate under a bus, where they belong... It's sort of ironic that the first deposition he gives will be on a case he probably truly knows little about, where there are dozens he does... The level of difficulty IS going to get greater...
Oh, is that the video? It was Schiller, was it? Interesting, as he's been the Don's personal bodyguard for decades... Gonna be hard to throw another Fraud Org employee under the bus for hiring Schiller and his activities...
The protester gripped up the security guard only to receive a single open hand slap to the head to get the man to release his hold. This is only civil case for a reason, they wants some monies.
